Anything coming in canada label has gift if its cost below 60 dollars no duties. If it value is more then 60 you pay duties and tax on the balance!

Its hard to explain. You shouldnt and if you do you wont know until CP delivers it. We get ppl like this all the time and they blame me since you know the maillady controls everything.
Sometimes if a package is suspicious they will tip it open - but normally they won do anything unless its such things as food, vitamens, etc. Also, products that are resticted coming into the country.
