Well, the third wave was a complete bust. And not even in the usual way - the page didn't load, but they called it a night anyway. So I'm out 100 ptz and an hour of my life, and all I've garnered is yet another reminder that Lockerz is all trouble, no pay-off.
At this point, I don't think it's a scam...just that it's a site that's way in over its head. The people who run it probably had no idea it'd get as big as it has, and as a result, have no clue how to handle the flood of attention they've received. If the team was competent, we'd all be singing their praises. Instead, they show, yet again, why they suck so very, very hard.
They've deleted every single post on their Facebook page. You can't even log in to the main site. Tomorrow they'll be like "Thanks for the great feedback of this redemption. We're already working hard on the next redemption in March. And we won't raise the prices!!" If they pull this sh!t again, I will not use this site, until their back on track.
Well, there are always people that do redeem, and that's what gets people excited and hoping and coming back to lockerz, and that is success for them. Of course they are aware that people can't redeem and the site always lags and they can't log in or whatever, that is their whole strategy, they only want a small portion to get prizes and totally limit it.
i missed my wave because i wasn't home... wasted 100 ptz, hopefully i can redeem something tomorrow.
Well I got nada..I got in right away all three times and things were still in stock when I clicked on them..by the time I get to checkout..whopps. out of stock!
They probably only have 2 of each things in stock!
