So I was looking in the SDM flyer this weeks and noticed that Coppertone sunblock was B1G1 Free. As I am very fair skinned, I burn easily and can always use more sunblock.
I was looking online for coupons, since I know I had one before, and found a $5.00 off Coppertone NutraShield sunblock coupon. I didn't know if this was included in the sale, and I haven't used this particular type, but figured I'd get it if it was on sale.
At my 1st SDM, they had the NutraShield SPF for $13.99 and on the B1G1 sale. When I got to the cash, the cashier wouldn't take my coupon "because it was printed from the internet" I have a LOT of problems with internet coupons, so I wasn't surprised and but the sunblock back.
2nd SDM didn't have stock of that sunblock
3rd SDM wouldn't take the coupon because it was a printable
4th SDM - young cashier, FINALLY took my coupon.1st Coppertone sunblock reg 13.99 - 5.00 coupon = 8.99
2nd Coppertone sunblock reg 13.99 - B1G1 = FREETotal OOP = 10.12 after taxesAnd now here's where I made the BIG WHOOPS!
I didn't realize until I went looking for the coupon link that the coupon said "VALID IN US ONLY"... OOOPS!
There IS a Canadian $1.00 off ANY Coppetone sunblock (below), and the Coppertone products start @ 9.99 - so it's still a great deal for sunblock even without my bad coupon.

Good deal but I would bring it back. I would feel bad that they wouldn't get reimbursed that I would have to return it and hope they still can get it from the till.
