I like how honest the new iRazoo management is. From their facebook page:
Welcome to iRazoo! This document will try to show you how to make points that you can cash in for gift cards.
Look at all the options under the earn points tab on the homepage. Here are some tips about some of the best ones.
1. Search. The easiest points are from searching. You can win multiple times from searching each day. Search values are between 10 and 100 points each although most wins will be between 10 and 15. You cannot over search in iRazoo so if you don’t win at first, keep trying. I often search a phrase and then change it up until I get a win (or get tired!) You can copy what someone else has posted on facebook and try that. Sometimes I will win just by adding ! or ? to the end of the phrase or correcting a spelling error. Search a name then add bio or stats or tour or tickets.
IMPORTANT: When you see the Congratulations screen, scroll down because there is a captcha that has to be entered before you get your points credited. They are NOT case sensitive on the website or on the mobile site. Sometimes the font will make it impossible to tell if the letter is I or L. If after you type in the captcha it comes back and does not say processing, then change the letter L to I or vice versa and hit enter again or hit the arrow to get a new captcha. You only get 3 chances to get it right.
2. Offers. If you are on many search and win sites like Swagbucks, Zoombucks and many more, you will be familiar with the offer walls. These are basically ads that will pay you points if you do the requirements of the offer. Some will be simply watching a video, others want you to buy something. Be very cautious of offers that ask you to download something as there can be viruses attached. iRazoo does NOT screen the offers and is not responsible for them.
When you click on the earn points tab, you will have many choices come down to pick from. Choose offers and you will see a page with tabs across the top. Each tab is a different offer company although some of the offers may be the same. Each company has the option to sort for free or surveys, etc. Read the offer details carefully to be sure that you understand what the company wants you to do. Often, the offer just wants an email but then will have several pages of additional things that you can click no or skip. If the offer does not credit immediately, leave the tab open on your browser and check back later. Don't forget to write down the details of any trial offer so that after the trial period if you decide to, you can cancel it. Once you have completed an offer, open iRazoo in a different tab and check your point total to see if it credited. If not, take a screenshot of the page that shows you completed the offer. Also, keep any emails that the offer may have sent you as you will need them to prove that you completed the offer. Remember that not all offers will credit immediately. Some will be an hour or more later before you see the credit. Unfortunately, some will not credit at all.
Each wall (except Offer Toro) has a missing points or help link usually in the upper right corner. Click that and look for the offer that you completed. There will be a link there that allows you to dispute the credit if you didn’t receive it. You must have proof that you completed the credit, a screenshot or confirmation email. You can also send a ticket to iRazoo support if you do not get satisfactory results from the offer wall help. Use the black support tab on the right side of the home page. For Offer Toro, send a ticket to iRazoo support, they will credit the points but unfortunately they will not count toward the bonus.
Check the facebook page for posts of offers that are crediting. If one credits for you, feel free to post about it so others can get it too.
You should have a separate email address for offers, as you will no doubt be getting some spam. Get a gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or whatever account(s). Don’t use your personal email account for these offers.
3. Videos. There is an advertiser limit on the number of videos that you can watch and until the advertiser changes their rules, iRazoo cannot pay more out. Sorry. When you watch a video, you will see a meter, each video moves the meter up. After the second video, you meter is back to zero and if you check you point history, you should see your point. Your point total may not change on the video page until you go back to your point history. You can open a separate tab on your browser to check your point history. Videos that are under 30 seconds will not credit at all, I don’t know why they are there. If you get one of those, then wait to go to the next one at least 30 seconds or you will get an error message that tells you not to cheat by not watching the whole thing. This is obviously not the case but that is what you will see.
You can watch the same video more than once but don't just refresh the page, that will alert the tech people that you may be using a bot which will be grounds for deactivation.
4. Tasks. You will either love or hate tasks! They can be really easy or frustratingly hard. I invite you to give them a try, and read the directions carefully. They can be very lucrative but some of them take a lot of time. Look for the surveys that give you a code at the end to enter, often worth 150 or more points each.
5. Surveys. Surveys also pay well but you will not qualify for all of them all the time. Still, maybe getting 300 points or more for a survey makes it very worthwhile to try.
6. Bonus Points. iRazoo has a daily goal feature that pays you 60 points for each day that you accrue at least 300 points from offers, surveys, shopping and tasks. Search wins and videos do not count toward this bonus. There is also a weekly, biweekly, triweekly and monthly bonus. For example if you make 300 points each day for 2 weeks, you will get 60 points each day (14x60=840) and the biweekly bonus of 250 points and the first week you got a bonus of 200 so you have made 1290 points just by making that goal for 2 weeks. And don’t forget the 300 qualifying points for each day makes at least 4200 points. Each amazon card is 3000 points so in two weeks you have at least 5490 points. Bonuses post in your point history at midnight after you make the goal, so a goal made on Monday will be in your point history at midnight, Monday night. You can sort your point history to see it, click the down arrow, go to daily bonus. The bonus points do NOT count towards the next day's goal.
7. Let’s talk about the amount of points that you need for gift cards. Most of the gift cards are 3000 points for a $5 card. The exception is paypal so we will ignore that option for this comparison. If you are on some of those other sites, you know that the cost of gift cards varies site to site. I will use a comparison of 500 points for a $5 amazon as that is pretty standard for many sites, some more, some less. iRazoo charges 3000 points which is 6 times the amount on the other sites. Here is what I do: if an offer is more that 6x the points on iRazoo, I do the offer on iRazoo.
8. How long does it take to get the gift cards? All gift cards are emailed to you, don’t worry that they ask for an address. I repeat: All gift cards are emailed. They are sent in batches usually once per week on Tuesdays and you can expect to wait 3-4 weeks to get your card. On iRazoo, there is no limit to gift cards. You can order as many cards as you have points. There are also no discounts for ordering a larger card so you can spend 3000 for a $5 card or 6000 for a $10 card, your choice. Why wait, just order a $5 card, get the points for another $5 card and order it. Once you get started, you will be getting a $5 card or maybe more, each time they send out a batch. That means you are getting your cards each week. Obviously, this assumes that you are using the site regularly and doing some offers and surveys. If you are only getting one search win each day, you will be waiting a long time between cards but why not try a survey next time you are on, or a task and get some points in your account.
If you didn't get the email about your gift card, check your order history. If the order says processing, then you have some time to wait but if it says issued, then click details. You will see a long URL that you can copy (not linkable) then paste to the browser. That will bring up the page with the code on it. Be sure to click the issued box next to each order after you redeem it, that way you will know which cards you have used and which have yet to be claimed. Click save at the bottom of the page.
9. Other point opportunities: Treasure codes are posted on Facebook and Twitter and sometimes email. Copy and paste the code in the box found under the earn points tab – Treasure Code. You are welcome to share the code with others, you will not be deactivated for posting a code. Check the expiration date that is posted. Also under the earn points tab is games, up to 10 points each day to play. Check out Special offers and iRazoo offers too. You do not earn points for coupons. Also, each day you will get 5 points just for opening the offers tab and one point for opening the video tab if there are videos to do.
10. Referrals. You will get up to points from your referrals when they get their first gift card. You can post your referral link on YOUR facebook page or email it to friends but please DO NOT post your referral link or any link on the iRazoo facebook page. It will be deleted. If you persist, you will be banned from the facebook page and possibly deactivated. When someone posts that they would like a referral, you can message them your link.I repeat: Do Not post your referral link on the iRazoo facebook page.
You may reply to anyone who asks for a referral on facebook telling them that you have messaged a link to them. DO NOT post your referral link as a reply to a referral request.
