I have some tart shell in the freezer too. The DS saw them in there last week and told me. I think I'll get a few more and some pie filing from the store and make some over the weekend so they can have some for school on Monday.
Now what flavours to buy??
All of them. Life is too short to regret not making enough pie.
And this does not just apply at Christmas. It is a year-round rule. Ask anyone!

I need some pie advice from the pie pros.
All this talk about pie is making me hungry. I bought some pie shells & chocolate filling to put in it. I would like to put a simple spin on it, to make it my own.
I was thinking about adding some bananas in the bottom, before adding the filling and then again on top.
Any other suggestions on how I can homemake my pie?
Top it with a pattern of sprinkles, nuts, icing sugar or some such.
Cut out a pattern the sprinkle sugar!
