I did live in Toronto for 6 years and the only thing I miss are the Jamaican patties.

I did not live in the best of neighborhoods: Jane and Finch. :eek:

jane and finch is..well jane and finch lol the name is scary enough for me, my dad wouldnt send me to York U there
although it looks fine from the highway!

There is a little pizza joint near York U called Tasty Pizza. They have some of the best pizza in Toronto. They did a student survey and they were voted the best by the students and who knows pizza better than a student!

Ever make it downtown to Kensington? Cheap yummy food, although now that it's a tourist trap, prices are going up.

I didn't go down too often. I would usually go and walk downtown. I always loved the World's Biggest Book store. I could live there.

As for the patties, I got them from vendors in the mall. They were possibly frozen, but I liked them for the taste and spice.
