Cant start dinner yet, pulled everything out of the cupboards, drawers and pantry to declutter and reorganize the kitchen. Didnt time that one out too well.

I am actually baking...making pastry and then butter tarts, mini quiches, fiesta roll-ups, and a couple different cookies for Christmas.

On Friday morning I'll make little blinis(tiny pancakes) and top them with smoked salmon, creme fraiche (if I can't find it i'll use sour creme and yogurt). top that off with capers and dill. I'll take that to my cousins place that night for christmas eve party. :)

I'm on the holiday count down. I have just enough food in my fridge to last until Friday, when I leave for home. There I will arrive to a house with enough food to feed a small village. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates or else I'm going to be spending Christmas eve in the TO airport.

Yeah Im trying to stretch out what I have in the fridge to last till friday when I get paid. First shopping and then when I get home friday morning I'll make my blinis and do laundry and then by noon be in bed so I can be up by 5pm to go to church, dinner at uncles place and then party at cousins, damn busy day,lol. ;)

I was given an early Christmas pressie today to cheer me up... a new kitten :icon_santa:
