Thanks, operation is still on even though he is sick but the meds he takes for his flu will not interfere with the operation as he is having a local only.

Patty, there have been outbreaks in Manitoba recently - it all starts with strep

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manito...-winnipeg.html

    It's easily treated with meds.

Worst freaking day. Woke up with an awful cold. Put $50 in my pocket for groceries this morning...got to the till to pay and it was gone. My kids have become completely unmanageable since I started working last week...the little one has just completely gone nuts to the point where I didn't want to admit he was mine in the store...my nerves are shot, my patience is gone...and so is my $$.
    Happy Mothers Day.

I discovered today what happens when the short one decides to leave my folks`car unchaperoned. Turns out he will run straight to the condo door, rush into the lobby as soon as someone opens the door, then head straight for the elevator.

At least I don`t have to worry about him being a wanderer. Brat.

Watching the Space Shuttle launch and thinking about the Apollo astronauts and how compared to the shuttle they pretty much went into space in a soup can. How brave are they?

My dad's progressing nicely. Thank goodness for Doctors who go above and beyond and try to learn new things, new techniques. His Doc. went to Australia to learn the technique he used on my dad so instead of 2 weeks in the hospital and months of recovery he was out in 2 days and is almost back to normal.

Same here, although I did enjoy the musical (stage version). One night the cast had a day off & showed up at my theatre to see a play. I kept drooling over one particular hottie. Turns out the fellow who played the creepy obsessive boy (my precious, my precious) cleans up really really nicely. Yummy!
