    MMmmmmm...I love making ginger tea...hot in the winter, over ice in the summer!
    I have no ginger....

    I just finished sewing apron #3!!! Yay! One more to go...a black and white print trimmed
    with pink with teensy white polka dots. Lots of gathering....phhhtt!

    That's why I love my dehydrator. Made a whole bunch of dried ginger powder. All I have to do is drop a bit in hot water and voilą.

    Had great weekend full of excitement. Went up to my friend's cottage on an island on Georgian Bay. Had a great Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Then the excitement ramped very late Saturday night when my friend went into labour, one month early! They had to take the boat back to the mainland at 3am and I stayed at the cottage with all the kids, none who are mine. Reinforcements were sent out to get me and the kids around noon Sunday. My friend gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

    Goofball cat is now asleep on top of the new freezer (my fault for giving him catnip near it to get him over the terror of the big scary white appliance). Last time he did that, he rolled over & fell off, injuring his dignity terribly.

    I want an apron, my last one finally bit the dust , I gave it a fitting burial though, it was so old and thread bare. I've been looking for a new one, but haven't been able to find anything. When I do my bread, my clothes are always covered in flour not sure how that happens

    Okay, DH...you have my undivided attention: can you please tell me how you dehydrate your ginger?
    I've done pineapple circles from cans, and whoa! Delicious!!

    But ginger...how thinly do you slice it? How long does it take to dehydrate it?
    This is very interesting!! I've got to try it!!!

    That's the age our DD moved out to live with a girlfriend...she was a bank teller then...
    Don't move in with a girlfriend. Never works out as planned.....lol....
