That's too bad he lost his phone... We didn't get our son one til he was 16 and have had no troubles. It's a pay-as-you-go, so we got the initial phone and some air time for him, after that he's been responsible for everything, and has been handling things well.Quote:

Hmm - me at 13? - always responsible. Was working at 12, and it got banked for university. No frills, not with five siblings!
I think we were more responsible at 13, then some kids today. Our friend has a 14 year DD and that girl loose things like crazy. Cell phones, bank cards, pricey shoes and clothing. We know longer give her gifts, now send her Mom money to go in her saving account for college. My husband can't wait till she gets a car, my DH says he gives it a week, before something happen to the car.
