Cooking the last of the tomatoes to make meat sauce this time. Thn I have to make a stew since I bought the meat at the butchers today.

Just watched Montreal beat Toronto (again) This time it's CFL football. Final 27-8.
I am soooo cold! The darn weather sucks! Plus my dad has to turn off the power for about an hour so he can hook up some wires for the renovation stuff so no heat for an hour! :eek: blankets here I come!!! lol Right now all we have in some areas is space heaters because of the renos going on the furnace isn't able to be hooked up to everywhere. But what will be soooo nice is when the renos are done-half the house will have in floor heating so no more cold floors in the winter!!! YAY!!! now just to get thru the renos in the mean time....
Oh, I cried, too. It was a very emotional show. Honestly, I think last season's cliffhanger ending was the 'worst' ever in a good way, if you know what I mean - wondering all this time what happened to Violet and if the baby was going to be okay.Quote:

The house is too quiet. My MIL took my daughter for the weekend. Just me and the baby (DH working all weekend) I miss her:( She makes me laugh all the time

Why did I start all this cooking today? I just came from a very fast trip to the farmers market to pick up turnips, carrots, potatoes, for the stew. I couldn't resist I got some gigantic leeks and tomorrow I'll make leek and potato soup. Roasting the veggies now to go with the stew and starting my meat and onions for the spaghetti sauce. Good thing I like to cook.
Geez Dealsniffer too bad it's so cold out there today it's rainy but 13 which seems pretty balmy. I turned off the furnace.
p.s. What is Private Practice? Have I been living in a cave?

Private Practice is a spin-off from Grey's Anatomy, with the main character Addison, who was McDreamy's wife. It's centered on a medical practice, seems more high-end - where there are a variety of docs with specialties. It's an okay show, not my fave. Lots of relationship drama, you don't see much of the medical stuff.
Taye Diggs is on it. Another reason to watch! ;)
well turns out my dad is missing a part for hooking stuff up so the power going off is put off till he gets the part hopefully tomorrow. Hopefully it is warmer tomorrow toO! The sun is trying to poke thru the clouds but still cloudy! yucky! It's a whole cold +6! I wish it was warmer!
