Very peeved right now. My neighbor who finally after 9 years finished his double driveway and it now attaches to mine is putting up a big double carport for the winter and he wanted to put it right on the property line. That would mean half of his snow off thetop of the carport would fall in my driveway. I went outside asn said to him that it has to be farther away (by law 1 metre) because I don't want to shovel an avalanche everytime it snows. He had a fit! I can't believe it! I ask him top comply with the law and he has a fit??? Just freaking common sense would dictate you don't put it on the line for crying out loud. Anyhoo i printed out the law and gave it to him. He moved it but now we are at odds. Why should I feel bad for asking such a small favor when over the years I have compromised in his favor on almost every joint project we did. It doesn't pay to be nice. So right away he starts yelling at me about my cats pissing on his car and pooping in the garden. Yes they do but so do all the other 50 cats in the neighborhood. Besides my cats are in all winter so they won't be doing that. You can't win.
