just coming in here to say I am still alive but I have a temperature of 102.0. I do not feel good in the least. I had a horrible night tossing and got very little sleep. I think if I could just stop coughing it would help. I am going to go collapse into my bed again.
vacation time
Just got back from the Payless Oprah 50% off sale. I didn't even know about it until I saw the brags. Picked up 4 pairs of shoes and one pair of boots for under $50. Wooohoooo, what I like was the fact that even on sale items were included in the deal. 2 of the pairs of shoes I got Kiera ended up being $4.50 each. Very pretty pink princess shoes of course. LOL
p.s. Sniff I hope your fever breaks for you there's nothing like a crappy fever. I hate to say it but a cold bath can work sometimes if you feel it's getting too high.
Tomorrow's the big day. Wind and rain in the forecast. The only silver lining is that the temperature should reach 17.
Just got home from an evening of concerts (& a champagne celebration celebration cause things went smoothly with the young artistic whipper snappers). Going back Sat & Sun to get my fix of music. They're threatening to throw me out if I don't wear a costume (haven't worn one in a very long time). :eek: They offered to bribe me with liquor, but since I don't get drunk, it won't work. :P
DealSniffer - soak some gauze with rubbing alcohol. Put it on the back of your neck & your armpits for about 10 minutes at a time. It will help break your fever.

I just came back from putting one of the cats outside, and I noticed that my Momma dog broke free from the leash, her clone is with her too :(
Its hunting season and the red necks get pretty darn trigger happy. They shot my husky on my bday a few years back. One of them purposely (the vet says) ran into Momma dog earlier this year. I hope they make it home before dawn breaks...
I heard lots of gun shots yesterday, and I was saying to myself that I would not have to worry about my pups this year. Boy, I'm such a jinks

Well looks like the wind has blwn that storm away for the most part. Calling for a little sprinkle but 35km winds. There may atually be some flying ghosts here today. LOL

I wpke up this morning to the sound of a dog barking. I stepped outside and found Momma dog & her clone inside the dog enclosure. They actually locked themselves in, they are so smart:) I never give them enough credit. Yay! safe dogs:)
