I once had mean mean cashier at Highland Farms...she made BF and I so uncomfortable! And it was over a price error on celery for crying out loud...she said we got the organic celery at 4.99!!! Who pays 5 bucks for celery!?!?! Anyways I said no I got the 0.99 cent sale celery...she then goes to tell me no I can tell its organic...WHAT?! Anyways I didn;t let up bc I needed the celery and I was not paying $5. She called the manager over, started banging keys, rolling eyes, huffing and puffing...then the manager comes and says no its regular celery there is no purple sticker indicating its organic ...I kinda just looked at her and smiled. She then yells across 3 cashes to some girl..."when do I get my break...I am so sick of this" She proceeded to throw my gorceries in the bag and when she handed me the reciept she said nothing. I was so freakin mad I emailed there head office...and 3 days latter got a sorry email and to notify me she had been let go...other had complained as well.
I mean alot of us don't like our job, but we have to tolerate it and its not ok to take it out on others...Grrr some ppl!
Ok sorry so long lolLast edited by VeeVee; Thu, Nov 19th, 2009 at 03:06 PM.

My friend and I were trying to figure it out. The "why" does it bother them so much.
1. Jealous (especially when it's a freebie)
2. Lazy - because they actually have to type in something rather than just scan it
3. They think you are crap/poor and have to use coupons and they are above that
4. Some people are just not happy in their skin
5. they have to balance the cash after against the coupons and it takes long?
Any other theories.Last edited by Patty Smyth; Thu, Nov 19th, 2009 at 03:26 PM.

I had some attitude from someone at Remark. Not over coupons but they had a thing of grape tomatoes that had some really mouldy ones (as in black and fuzzy) so I handed them to someone working nearby and just smiled and said they might wanna bin them (no attitude on my part) and they acted like I handed them a dog poop bag or something and she was like "what do you want me to do with this???????" lol I don't know but you might not wanna sell it :p

Some people just don't care!
BF and I bought my mom a new PC for Christmas, main reason so she can watch Serbian TV through the net..we bought the tower no screen bc she is going to use her TV. Anyways she does not have a flat screen so we needed these special cables to hook the pc to the tv, but the one we got didn't work so BF went to Tiger Direct were we had purchased the PC and asked the "Computer Technician" in the repair section what else he can do. The guy tells him 'nothing buy a new tv'! Umm yes we are going to buy a $1000 tv there bud! BF asks is there any other way..he says 'no I will give you a refund minus 15% restocking fee' (grrr) were about to go to cash to refund when one of the regular employees says he has a $50 solution for me and BF...he shows us these cables and garantees they will work, we buy it and presto it does!
This technician was willing to loose a $500 sale bc he was to lazy to ask someone...like really people have some pride in what you do! Grr so agrivating!

It's been a completely unproductive day. I've not managed to do a darn thing, yet I feel like I've pulled an all-nighter. Maybe it's the lack of sunlight?

- Place aspirin in glass.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
- Pour in alcohol, a little more than needed to cover the aspirin.
- Heat the glass in the microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds until warm but not boiling. The acetylsalicyclic acid will dissolve in the alcohol, leaving the starch binder…………

I eat it after step 3
