Having a horrible Monday.

Talked to a friend this morning who is furious. My friend's disabled & she has weekly meetings in her division, so the host of said meetings has been sending his secretary over to help her by carrying her coffee & files over. Apparently the lazy so-and-so secretary complained to HR that she's "fearful" of my friend, in case she collapses. Huh? I told my friend that since people are now fearful of her, I'm gonna start calling her Typhoid Mary. That got her to laugh.

I just got off the phone with the owner of one of Lily dog's alley cat friends (my dog collects stray cats). The poor girl came in from the streets in the summer & had major surgery. She bounced back & enjoyed the good life, but in the last little while has taken a turn for the worse. I'm trying to rearrange my schedule to go with them to the vet on Friday to say good-bye. Of all the cats Lily introduced me to, she had the sweetest personality.

Guess it's a grey gloomy day for a reason.

Thank you so much! I really needed that today.

I've spent the morning hanging out with the critters, chores & everything else can wait. Feeling much better now, though not looking forward to Friday.
