Trying to recover from wrenching my shoulder at a birth...I am in pain.
My three year old DS comes upstairs this morning wearing my shoes (knock-off Chanel flats)...I ask him why he's wearing my shoes and he answers, completely seriously, "Because they go with my outfit." FYI...he's wearing Superman Underoos.
I am preparing to nap!

Went to Loblaws with DW on a coupon run. Had a chef there preparing something that smelled wonderful. It was kangaroo. (apologies to Skippy)
The Countess has signed back on and returned her reps and is very overstuffed from lunch with her gfs.
I am now making another attempt to read my new book The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. It has collected dust all of this nightmarish week.

my BiL is here helping my parents reshingle the roof-I wish I could help but because of my back being so weak it isn't really somehting I can help with.
I made lunch tho for everyone. and I am pulling weeds.

mind you-the dandilions are supposedly edible and tasty, but I have never tried it. There is actually a recipe for dandilion soup-my mom actually joked one time that we should grow dandilions on purpose to have for soup!
I was also surprised one time I saw that Stokes sells Dandilion seeds.:eek::yikes:In the herbs section-why on earth would anyone need to buy seeds??:shrug: Just go outside and pick them! Or better yet-go to the neighbors and offer to pick theirs! You might even get paid to 'weed' their yard!!! :lolsign:
