Were home! BF was discharged tonight. Surgery went well and now the hard part is over - 3 months of physio await him, but he should make a full recovery after that!

I'm sure he has good meds to see him through. :top: At least there will be a full recovery.

I got a nasty cut on my arm when I worked in a window making factory. The windows broke and slashed just above my wrist. I was lucky that the tendon wasn't completely severed, but was hanging by a thin thread. I was very lucky that the doctor on call was a plastic surgeon so he patched it up very nicely. The only lasting effect is the nerve damage so it's sensitive to the touch.

I have a serious booboo on my belly and I am getting worried. Oh well.

Serious booboos must be attended to immediately. If it involves copious amounts of blood, I suggest you keep a bottle of peroxide handy (great at getting those tell tale stains out of carpets when the forensics team is on its way).
