Sad Day

I had to put the real Bubsy to sleep today. She was my cat of 15 years. I miss her like crazy! I hope it gets easier. :cry:

I feel for you. We have had several cats over 10 years old put to sleep. We miss them all still but we are happy for the time we had them in our lives.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Busby :( I hyperventilate at the mere thought of my two furbabies going to the next world, so can't even imagine how you feel.

I am so sorry for your loss! Earlier this year we lost a pet who we have had since she was born because her mom was ours too and it was devastating! I cried for days but I am saying this to tell you that it also does get easier but it takes time. It isn't easy one bit-I can't lie but it does get easier. Now I am able to think about her and it is bittersweet because I miss her but I also remember the good times and how much fun we had together. I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. I come from a long, proud line of cat people, and I've cried buckets every time one of our furry family members passes. I still cry over them, sometimes, when I see a cat that reminds me of one of them.

So sorry about the loss of your furbaby - gosh, I do know it's hard; we have been through it as well!
I like to think of the ones I know who have passed away as having a blast in kitty heaven with no rules!

I'm so sorry for your loss, It was one year this July that my cat was hit by a car outside my house and I cried for a long time but it does get easier, I kept thinking I will never get over it but I have and now I can think back on all the great times we had, and it is also okay to cry over a pet some people would think it's strange but that's what helped the most.
