I freeze the regular marshmellow and when I want to make rice krispies cake I take it out for about 20 minutes or so and it keeps very well.I have frozen marshmeloows for up to 6 month.

I never freeze rice krispeis once I make them.I sometimes find they dry out and go harder. Then the kids won't eat them.

What an awesome deal! You could also make 5 min fudge (it is made with marshmallows and you can't even tell...delicious and frugal!)

Oh my gosh, can I come over and help make the Rice Krispie squares? I promise for every two marshmallows that go in the mix that I'll only eat one!

I always put a little bit of corn syrup into the marshmellow before I add the ricekrispies so they are a little softer. I bet that would help keep them soft a little longer.
Awesome deals. That even beats the ones I got last week at zellers for $.27 each. I bought 16 bags myself.
I know I love to eat the more stale marshmellows because I love them being chewy. (strange, I know) I have never had them actually go bad, they just get harder until they are solid like the dried ones in the hot chocolate mix.
