    From Sandra4:
Hey thanks for the heads up!! you're awesome!
I was in LD yesterday and for the first time ever I bought 9 bags of the cascade tablets. There were only 9 on the shelf but I really need these as I use them 2 times per day in my small dishwasher and with 6 people in the house... . That is the 1st time ever that I cleared a shelf, but 9 bags of Cascade is not alot. My husband is currently going to BCIT so we live on his EI pay and my CTB whic is not alot... you all know I dont go to LD and make huge brags and buy unnecessary quantities of anything.
I also bought 3 Downy (but there were 9 bottles left) because when it was the 1st part of the Walmart 15th anniversary sale, the shelves were cleared of Downy and some other items...no Febreeze luminaires, no tide stain release etc..that was a bummer, but i came back another day. no biggie
And when it was that dove promotion and crackers, the shelves were cleared pretty quickly, not to mention the several J&J promotions they had with the Free Baby bag, those were all gone!
I noticed a new $1.00 Cottonelle Coupon and it was gone already! 1 was left hanging on the shelves...
so i totally understand what you're saying.
I buy what I need, and what my own family uses. i dont stock up for other families because then it's never ending. I also don't sell anything on the internet or re-sell later at garage sales or whatever else people do. That is very very lame and I don't have time for that with 4 kids. We really do need these products. With 4 kids, the 9 bags of cascade I bought will last me 3 months. I don't know when my husband will start work after he is done at BCIT because the situation is not good up in Fort Mcmurray. I don't think i need to justify myself, but just wanted to write back aswell..
I also understand everyone has their own needs and i try to be respectful when i go. I always bring the CS a coffee or extra coupons or granola bars as snacks i appreciate what they are doing for us...
I will continue to buy what I need for my own family until they allow us to do so with their policy and will continue to be respectful of other shoppers as I NEVER take ALL the coupons
    thanks again for your email.

    Hi all,
Terri beat me to it! I was also told about people clearing the shelves etc. The manager is not very happy and wants to ban coupon stackers or stop the coupon stacking program all together if this continues. Please do not leave LD with a giant cart load of stuff - you can always go back for more, and there will always be another sale! Originally there were only maybe about 5 people that went to this LD to coupon stack, and now there at 10-20, and some of them are not very nice. Please respect the staff and other customers by not taking all the products on the shelf (leaving 1 on the shelf is pretty much the same as clearing the shelf!) and not taking all the coupons!!! Coupon stacking is just a cortesy LD gives to its customers and they are not required to do so, so please do not take advantage of the company by buying 1578257983275 of everything. Afterall, we do not want them to end the program as it does save us all a lot of money!

Hey all, does anyone have an LD that sells Robin Hood flour? It's not on their website but... I don't really like their search on their website...

    Hi all,

Just reading thru the messages below....I've actually STOPPED stacking at LD simply because they are rude and quite discriminating to me the several times I've been there.

Things that I've heard from LD staff :
    "You're ripping us off!"
"You plan to buy with coupons then return stuff and make money off us, aren't you?"
"You must do this for a living.."
"You shouldn't be allowed to use coupons"
"You know we have a policy don't you? We don't allow stacking of coupons that have the same wording on the coupon" (e.g. Tide save.ca and Tide P&G flyer...they both say "Save $1 on Tide"
"I'll let you stack this ONE time. I let you off easy"
"Sorry for the wait. You know how THESE (points at me) customers are" (said to another customer behind me)

I'm tired of the humiliation and the insults. Mind you, the most I've bought is maybe 2 bottles of Tide at the same time. Never cleared a shelf, never cleared a coupon book. I only buy what I need, not for the thrill or for the savings of it. Heck, I don't even PM!

BUT...lately there's been some stuff that I've wanted to stack (can never have enough laundry detergent with a preschooler and a baby!)..and I just want to ask you guys are there new rules at LD? Last time I was told I can only stack 1 of each media...so I can't stack save.ca and brandsaver.ca because they are both printed on the same media. Is this rule still true? So can I stack....regular coupon + magazine/newsprint + save.ca ?

Wow! Unbelievable. You should complain to head office. Who do they think they are talking to customers like that? That is absolutely disgusting. Do they not realize that the store allows stacking, it's not like we are doing anything sneaky. I'm going to assume that there are some people out there that actually are trying to make money off of the stacking program which is really sad for many of us who try our hardest to make ends meet and who feel so blessed to have found LD and make our lives a little easier.

I know some cashiers and customer service people there are so rude and I've had times when it was so stressfull (despite all the planning and organization) that I have questioned whether I want to go back or not, but luckily every other time or more often I have someone else who is amazing.

That's horrible. I pick my cashiers carefuly. I have NEVER EVER had anyone terrible....but some do read the fine print of each coupon - LOL!

I prefer the ones who get excited about all the money I'm saving! I try to plan my trips when I know certain ones will be likely be working and the store won't be too busy.
