whatever job the neighbour had going it was all gone by late afternoon! Hooray!! There is not really a good alternative for DH in the basement ( couches are short love seat styles ) and 2 recliners. He just has to tough it through this week, then they are both off for a week! ( vacation! ) Going to the same place as last year..... Veranda Beach!! ha ha ha The new doors sound long overdue, and I'd be excited too! What a great Raptor's win! I watched it after the 13th inning loss the Jays had. Poor Ryan Tepera...imagine how awful he felt??
Oh well they won 2 out of 3 anyways!

oh my son would be so envious "raptors tickets " I bet you enjoyed -my son has loved the raptors since he was about 6-he went once this year -ahhh bingo I use to go with my mom about 6 times a year -I went with my neighbour last year once -I kept all my mom's bingo dabbers-lol

Our neighbour across the street seems to be modifying something in his backyard, perhaps filling in his in ground pool? Or expanding it? All I know is there were jack hammers going at 8 a.m., pylons cordoning off part of the street surrounding a huge dumpster and right now some other noisy machine is running NON stop! I'll just bet my DH has not slept much, the bedroom window faces that side......grrrr!

tonight's game was kind of a nail biter huh? Their starting pitcher was so dang good! BUT we triumphed with Pillar!! I cringed when Pillar and Bautista both went for that fly ball and neither would back off?? TEAMWORK guys! Lucky Pillar grabbed it and hung on.

hey a reveal party -is where a couple reveals what they are having a boy or girl -yep we sure didn't do that years ago we just told our parents -my daughter is having a cake made with blue or pink crème in the middle -and she is decorating their condo with ribbons and ballons from the dollar store -on sunday so lets hope its not too cold as there will be 12 adults and 5 kids there -so lets hope we can sit on the balcony on her big couch maybe with a blanket

I hope all your ouchies are gone from your gardening adventures; isn't it a *itch not to be able to do those things we loved so much before? Otoh, I have to think about those displaced families,lost home AND two young people who lost their lives in that accident trying to escape the fire and remember how precious and wonderful each day really is. I'm blessed and grateful for every single day, aches, pains, and everything....

oh hicks!!! You lucky dawg you! What a game to be at last night! So I got up from my recliner when it was 5-1 ( had to force myself to start the prep on some chx breasts I was stuffing) I was only upstairs in the kitchen maybe 20 min? and once they were in the oven I went back down....OMG! It was 12-1?? I have a feature on the tv where I can just rewind the live play, so I watched it all when the next lull in action happened. I was screaming too, good thing no one else was home.
Also the raptors had an amazing OT win!! What a night!

Had a great laundry day yesterday-my new spring finds are clean but not all pressed. Changed thread on shirt holding the buttons last night too. Need to give my jacket a press cloth and some iron time so I can wear it tonight.

oops, seems I misspelled Lowry, I was speaking about Kyle Lowry and after he made that amazing basket to force OT against Miami they showed a shot of him on the bench with a childlike grin on his face like as if he could not believe he had just done that!! The other Lowrie, yeah, all tattooed up the ying yang and VERY high energy! If anyone looks like they are using PED's he does....ha ha Just kidding, he is great but he is always SO intense eh? I just love those huge university graduates, hearing their names called, their Moms/girlfriends crying, everyone hugging, they're so happy then they get to put on their new team's hat and meet Goodell, as he says, "Welcome to the NFL." and hugs them...it's such a happy show!!!
