Hi Amira, We flew into Abbotsford, rented a car, took the ferry from North Vancouver? over to Nanaimo. We drove from Nanaimo, stopped at Cathedral Grove, Port Alberni, stopped at some of the beaches along the way to Tofino. Rented a house in Tofino (group of us) and did some hiking on trails nearby. We didn't visit anywhere else on the island. I'm hoping to go back one day. Would love to see Victoria, Qualicum Beach etc. My cousin went on the Frances Barkley? ship that leaves Port Alberni. I believe they deliver mail, parcels to places along the inlet. She said it was quite a nice sightseeing tour and reasonable in price.
Hi toban! I read your post about tofino a few days ago and had some questions but i am finally taking the time to chat. We love tofino! And the way from our town to tofino is just jaw dropping. Waterfalls, mountains, clouds.....awesome! Did you drive from your place to BC or you just took a flight and landed here in tofino? Did you drive around vancouver island much or not? What else did you visit in vancouver insland? Which part did you like the most?
