hi...yeah that FB cashier just rubbed me the wrong way insisting that the going rate for 10 lbs. of spuds was over $5.00. Nope. lol. Maybe for some but I wait for the price drop. Today while at FB I saved an older gentleman paying $5.00 a piece for watermelons! I told him across the street at NF they are just $2.84 each. He quickly put the 3 he had back and thanked me. I read about how the employee bridge gets removed when DH gets his OAS and CPP. That happened to me too as I retired before 65, then the claw back began once I had that 65th birthday.

ya know ALL I could think of was that poor young woman crying and thinking she had lost all of her ID and cards! So many cards in her wallet!
PLUS her cell phone was in there!! ha ha...but, it was this thin black thing, I had no idea it was a phone until it started beeping? or dinging?
So many calls probably from people trying to reach her.
I learned the hard way NOT to carry unnecessary ID in my wallet ( birth certif. CC's that I don't use often ). Why give a thief all your info?

I've never eaten any of the 5 guys stuff, heard of them but we've never searched one out. I had a rather annoying experience with one of the Metro meal Deals on Thursday. Long story short, I'm being reimbursed the $26.99. ( whole BBQ chx, 1 hot and 1 cold side and ribs ) The Deli lady shoved burnt ribs into the tray. Never saw till I reached home and too late to go back, these were for the guys work meals. Called store, manager really sorry, said bring in bill, he'll refund me. SNEAKY what she did, why treat regular customers that way? I buy lots of stuff at that Deli location, they know my face.

I am sort of stocked up on my own deodorant for now, just don't use as much as I used to when I worked everyday. DH and DS have their own preference, Old Spice. That makes it easy for me, they have sales! I head out bright and early tomorrow hoping to snag my first 40 times the miles using my Air Miles Max Pass thing at Metro ( they open at 7 a.m. ) . If I have time I'll hit both Shell and Dollarma later in the afternoon. Who would ever have thought Dollarama would be an AM Sponsor?
