Thank you! My coffee table has 3 bouquets and 2 orchids, and another potted plant. I feel like I am in the middle of a spring garden. The roses are beautiful! Just looking at them makes me smile!

Air Miles work good for me as we have no Beer Store in town and DH has to buy his beer at the LCBO. We get gas at Shell as it is town but Rexall is a distance to travel to. I try to stay away from Sobey's and Foodland unless it is a good sale.

I love the thrift stores too and there always seem to be great items at fantastic pricing!

weird as well the one I go to near DD's work also had a makeover about 2 months ago but I am not liking the " flow " of the place now, especially where you check out, but I think they did it to make more space maybe? They must know what is best.

aw, that can suck, well better to just relax today then. I must drive DD into work for 3:15 but I am seriously considering doing something underhanded!! ( sneakily I want to make some noise up in the hallway just outside the bedroom door so DH wakes up and then pretend like I have no idea what woke him up ) THEN once he gets up I am hoping he offers to drive her in!! bwahahaha!!! Oh I couldn't do that. Could I??

9:14 bedtime? yup, sounds pretty like me this whole week. I'd get up there around 8:30 intending to watch a bit of tv and then I drop right off to sleep! Very early mornings do that to me. Enjoy the great sunshine today!!

oh the good old days and those hilarious ( and affordable ) McCains cakes, I remember KFC ran a special once where you got one free with a bucket of chix. lol...Now look what they ask for one? ( over $5.00 I think ) I am dreading this predicted snow storm in the wee hours, gotta take DD into work early and then try to get to the pool. I may just go back home though after dropping her if it is too ugly.

oh I tell you IF you can swing going to a pool you will not regret it! You will not believe this, but I swam for 2 hrs non stop today from 5:20-7:20 ( a.m.!! lol ) I am always up early most days anyway and I was so excited thinking it would be empty at that time, but shocker! It was even more busy than on the other days? I was so bushed once I got home, DH picked me up but I had to transit my way there as he had the vehicle. Since starting this I feel about 60-70% energy boost and I make less " sounds " now when I reach over for stuff or when I walk the dogs, they get a little longer walk. Everyone here says they hate swimming! They say it is monotonous but I find it so truly relaxing.

I am toying with the idea of buying a yr membership to the Pan Am Centre, but still trying to get advice about what I will actually " get " vs what I will spend.
( I grabbed 2 info booklets today ) and saw some classes I might be able to do, like the Aquafit and one that helps strengthen bones, if I had Osteoporosis, which I don't but I sure got bad knees, so? Parking would be free though after the 2 hrs is up, that might be 1 perk? I hate to jump in all excited and then lose interest and be stuck with a membership....so far just paying as I go seems to be working right now.

omg are ya tryin to make me cry? ( picturing your Mom doing that! ) well DH loved the meal and the 2 glasses of red wine, but since he rose at 6:00 a.m. today the wine hit him hard! ( I think he is asleep in the recliner now...lol ) I had such fun making it all up and I loved waiting till he left to drive DD to work, then I sprang into action baking up the stuff and used the nice white rectangle plates to serve the California Rolls on. He has sure warmed up to those, never used to eat any, but if you choose the fillings you like they are great! No more Smart points left ( weight watcher lingo ) for me now, so I'll be sipping water till the morning! ha ha BUT it was worth it.

and I'll bet it was a bottle half the size right? ( probably the 250 ml size syrup) My sis had JUST done that the day before she saw the sale and I convinced her to march it back with the receipt for a refund. She was glad she had not opened it. The price for real syrup skyrocketed quite a few years ago but we just prefer the real stuff, or we go without, those times were sad....lol!!

Feb babies rock!! Wow, he was kind of close to being a Leap Year kid!!

just like me, born 5th of 6 kids, BOTH sets of my g'parents were gone early. Mom's passed before I was born, Dad's side were divorced but died within months of each other in the same year! I never met any of them. Dad's Mom might have seen me as a baby but I have no memory, never lived anywhere near us. Another great ( no snow ) day today...one of my babies is 25 today! ( my little Groundhog! ha ha )
