  1. Thanks I sent her the info.
  2. Part 2: LOL darn thing cut me off at 1000 characters! ;p

I also got a big bag of goodies from UCBaby when I had my 4d ultrasound.. Ohhh and VIB! Sign up for VIB! They sent me all kinds of crazy optimum point coupons for baby stuff, and a box with a pacifier, bib, fork/spoons, etc. I think I might have signed up on the Pampers and Huggies websites too, because I remember getting diapers and wipes in the mail as well. Sorry this was so scattered (just how my brain works haha), if I think of anything else I'll let you know!

& Olivia is doing well thank-you She's growing like a weed and into EVERYTHING! Wishing I breastfed longer though, formula is getting expensive lol. This is such a wonderful age right now though, I'm loving every minute and definitely not looking forward to returning to work in 6 months.
  3. All of the "firsts" are the hardest, keeping busy makes it better though. Ohhhh a new baby! Nestle Good Start, Enfamil, and Similac all sent me LOTS of stuff! (I mean cans and cans and cans of free formula, bottles, pacifiers, cereal, etc!) Also, make sure she registers for Babies R Us and Sears, they both gave me bags of goodies! Also, call J&J and request the new parents pack (one time thing) & they'll send you a FPC for a box of goodies! (I think they automatically send 5 x $1 Baby j&j call-ins with it, but you might have to ask not sure on that...) Also, at a few maternity stores I bought things and gave my address, and they sent me lots of stuff too! (The stores in the States just gave it to me right there but the ones in Canada mailed it to me.)
  4. Caitie you are a sweetie. Some days are a bit harder than others. Thanksgiving was my first time having to do a family dinner all alone. It makes you realize that there are so many things you meant to ask but didn't. Christmas will probably be really hard, but we'll do it and get on with things. How's the little one? I have a friend who is going to be a g'ma soon (we are much to young to be grandparents ) and was looking to see what companies offer the baby goodies any suggestions?
  5. Hope you are doing well
  6. I am truly sorry to hear about your loss, and you're very welcome, but it honestly was my pleasure! <3 I do know what it feels like to lose someone close to you. Two years ago my cousin (and best friend) died after a long brave battle with cancer, she was 19. It is really hard, and you never stop missing them, but every day does get a little easier. It can sometimes take a long time to sink in, I think that's part of how our mind helps us cope. Staying busy definitely does help a lot, I found once the wounds healed over a little, that talking to others about her wonderful life and all our memories made me feel happy too.

  7. I received an envelope from you today and was overwhelmed by your generosity. The past week or so has been hard and I'm still not sure if I have processed losing such a big part of my life. I have spent the past year taking care of my mom full time, it is almost like having an infant again she was that dependent on me. Now I don't really know what to do with myself. Hopefully I can figure it out soon or I'm likely to go a little nutty. Playing on the trains was a good way to distract myself and basically keep myself "busy" when she didn't need me. Now I guess I have to reintegrate myself into a more "normal" daily routine. Again, thanks so much for thinking of me, I know what it is like as a new mom and taking the time to do that means a lot to me.
