Yep, the pool is mine. It does look better than usual because I wet it down before taking the picture, but it is still a nice pool. Still looks like I will be able to use it Monday,although the water temperature is kindda cool (70F)

That was my logic as well (get two kitties at about the same time), but the breeder had suggested to get the other one in first, so it could get used to the new house. So we're back to getting them at about the same time, or even getting the sphynx first. My wife is quite disappointed 'cuz she was looking forward to having a cat around on my next business trip in early June.

Aww, that's too bad you couldn't get that nice tortie! I didn't think of that, if they have no fur they wouldn't have much protection would they?, but there will always be a chance they could get scratched by another. I guess it would be best to get 2 kitties at the same time, that's more or less what I did, within a few weeks. Well, take care and good luck!

Hi, we dropped by the Humane Society, and there was a 6 months old Tortoise Shell which reminded me of my dear old Princess. However, the employee suggested we get the Sphynx in the house first. Given he has no hair, he has no protection against claws. She said a cat who's been at our house for 2 months might get territorial, and swat at the new kitten. So we'll wait a few months before getting the second cat.

Well, kittens are cutter with hair, if you want my honest opinion. But the mom was cute, so we bought one. They feel really warm to the touch, and they do have very short fuzz. I'll post a pic on the board later today

I think cats should always have a buddy at home. The breeder actually says if there is no second cat, he will not sell to us. The plan is to get the second cat around the same time, so they are both new to the household. The sphynx kittens were born just a couple of weeks ago, so won't get any home until July or so. Should be exciting
