Back home for a few days, we haven't seen a drop of rain.

We are on a lake in a inlet just off the main lake. Most days i'm sitting on the deck in the morning watching the loons and posting away, as for fishing not near what i used to with my first hubby. Hope U have a good weekend Di!

GOOD !!! I hope it lasts. This so-called summer has been awful.

It sure does feel like fall but wait until Sunday back to summer again, really hot.

I was sure this is the civic long weekend, must get back in the loop! Osuna sure was a disappointment today.

Actually the lake is still a little cool, good 4 a short dip. DD is up with her boys, so no shortage of activities.

I had planned on going, but I fell off a ladder yesterday, and am just a little sore, so we'll see.

I tried to mow my hayfield, but it was so deep, and so wet, I only got about 1/3 done before my lawn mower died, so I thought I'd tackle it again later, but we just had a 5 minute thunderstorm roll through, so everything's wet again.

Just finished doing the lawn, with the humidity it sure was hot, but took 3 breaks which helped.

Thank you, but I'm fine. We were expecting this, and just waiting. Now she's no longer in any pain.

Really, Really sorry to hear Val passed away! I was going to post a funny Lucy pic this morning on the Q thread, I'm sure glad I didn't. I know U were friends and hope U are Okay, May she rest in peace! Di.

Thanks 4 the reps. I think I'll live. I've been really sick, but I think I'm on the mend. This cough & tight chest are still pretty bad, but I've been in bed for over a week now, thought I'd try staying up for awhile. Take care.
