Oh that sounds like a good plan & nice that your hubby helps out! Mine hates grocery shopping (maybe goes 2x a year with me! lol). I go during the week for a few deals like Sobeys tonight to do the Pepsi/lays promo & then tomorrow to NF for the dollar sales! Saturdays hubby takes his elderly parents shopping so no time to do it with me anyway!! I also do my mom's shopping as she has a bad back & can't do it anymore but I don't mind as I get better deals for her

LOL, I always find it so funny when guys get squeamish! especially when they so often like to put on a show of being 'masculine' and 'tough' ....until something yucky needs to be done, that is!

I sooo wish I had a video to post of my Ds #2 lifting the bag of trash out of the container. He does NOT dare touch his hand to one wet thing in there! It was full too so he had to try and lift the outside edges and I had to turn away as I was lol.

see? Country ( farm folk) are just like that! I had a gf in univ. and she was raised just like that. She thought I was kinda weird because I just didn't know so many useful life skills.( well stuff she considered common knowledge ) Her dad was a butcher all his working life, so she knew all that blood and guts reality. lol.Her Dad and her renovated the entire farmhouse, she knew how to swing around power tools as well! Just too funny.

so freaking wonderful! ( OMG and scary about being 6 at the time) I was too cautious with my kids, never wanted them to "get hurt ". it got better after the 3rd kid, I relaxed more.

and when you do have kids, always let them in on all the stuff you love. It is them seeing you loving it that they will remember, not whether it is an appropriate or inappropriate event they are at. Parenting is odd. We always try to be proper and do everything just so, and then the stuff your kids remember and cherish is never the things you fretted most over.

( esp. the good ones, lol) That is all we have and we want to recreate that in our adult lives too. You actually made me all mushy the way it was described.

that is one sport (?) talent event that I can honestly say I never considered watching.

computer scrabble is my weakness, and backgammon ( I found the on line to stressful, people tend to chat to you and you are trying to think! I play the computer instead, computer does not chat. lol

This satying home on my holidays is making me forgetful and lazier each day. lol. I get up thinking " oh I will go out, do this do that, then nope, I just putter around, do all the pets stuff, have coffee, eat, cook, funny some holiday eh? Oh well no work at least!

well.....OMG! I had no idea that movie had so much , um , sexual content ( nudity AND dialougue.) I was so ashamed as I am not very good with the lg screen tv remote and I could not stop or fast forward, and DD was lol at me and I was trying to cover her eyes and ears. The movie is one that guys would rofl at but not so much the gals. Nice story though, some sweet moments, but UGH! to wait through the graphic stuff. Oh well live and learn.

You have described my DD to a T. She wears FLATS! Flats in Dec-Jan?? She says
" I hate dragging my shoes to school, I hate having to go to my locker and get my boots back on after. " She is lucky we have NOT had our real amount of snowfall....yet. ha ha Getting frozen just once learns ya real fast eh?

I have heard about their temps, and they get more snow than T.O. for sure. I used to be embarrassed to wear long johns, not anymore though, lol
