Hi! Thanks for thinking of me The course is going great, I love it! It's a condensed course so it's only 6 months in total. I have 2 more weeks left of theory and then I'm on to placement until the end of June I'm really happy with how it's going and how well I'm doing... I was worried about it, to be honest!

How are things with you?

The dissertation is sort of on hold. Had a talk with my supervisor on Wednesday saying I would probably be finishing in November although I was currently aiming for August, so a little bummed by that.

I was MIA for a bit here as DS called and gabbed for a while. I sure hope that in some way you will be able to get your Mom help one day, at least we have recognized their can be a potential danger for ourselves if we don't keep our purchasing in check, so that part is good.

I had a huge message, then by mistake deleted it! Anyways, Anderson Cooper tomorrow is doing a show on hoarding. One guest looked eerily similar to sc or an Extreme Coup ( with a stockpile ) I am watching that for sure. Always questioning myself now when I search the sales to bring more stuff home. ( am I or am I not a hoarder?) Well once I retire ( soon) I have promised myself I am purging the garage, the basement and getting rid of many things that raising 3 kids caused! ( ha ha )

I firmly believe that these " comfort " moments our purring pets give us extend our lives!! So adorable.

yup! I think my DS is going through that now, well, he wants many more things than he has $$ for but it is very tempting when you have that paycheque and you don't think " hey this job could be gone tomorrow" Reality check for sure.

hi!! Thanks for the rep. Man like I said in my post, DH and I made some bad choices when we were " in love " and lavished our babies early on, but soon fixed the mess once we saw where we'd be headed if we continued. Priorities eh? lol

that makes perfect sense , kidding you. I know smells do trigger some of the most intense and endearing memories we have to flood back into our brains. Foods would do that for me, but a shop that provides that memory of Gramps is the best. Hallmark moment confirmed! lol

aw thanks so much, I have heard that Family Day is actually supposed to be nice because of no winds chill nonsense, so for those of them that have it off with their kiddies I am glad. I really do remember the times we spent doing anything with our kids when they were off on March Break or summer vaca as so precious, Family Day is no different. ( even if CP does not give us that day, np)

what is DH bearing store? ( typo ? ) The walk was worth it though I bet. In a small way that is the one thing I am grateful for with my job. It FORCES me to walk each day. Sometimes I am NOT in the mood, but does my mood change quickly when it is tied to my livelihood, and of course once the sunbeams hit my face I forget my lousy lazy mood altogether. Here I come Monday!

There are even guys ( older ones that know better) that go to the vending machines DAILY and eat chips, donuts whatever all junk and have pop as a drink. For their dinner break! I would beat them over the head.

I am laughing with you on that note too. Maybe they are unaware one method is time consuming, can be tough on the hands ( chopping, peeling, grating ) and needs a pat on the back at the end. Much more clean as you go required too so the kitchen in not a disaster when the dish is cooked.
I have recently starting sending DS and DH to work with home made fried potato chunks, scrambled eggs, bacon and the bread to toast for themselves when break time comes.
I only scramble the eggs 3/4 so they are still a bit runny, then they nuke 35 sec or so at work and it's is done. Well they said guys at the lunch room were drooling over THAT dinner and they both went on and on at how good, OMG guys it's eggs!! I really don't get them some days either. lol

that is pure energy to make chili soaking your own beans, I use canned. I am with you on the bread though, did that for quite a while, then slacked off a bit. I agree with breakfast for dinner, we do that often too.
