Yes! I grate them with my hand held cheese grater.....my mom told me that you could also use a blender(mineis reserved for smoothies!!!) or food processor which I do not own....

Love your picture! Potato pancakes are basically grated potatoes mixed with a bit of flour and egg salt and pepper and then pan fired like a regular pancake. I like them with sour cream. When I was a kids I remember eating them at home with Rogers syrup......my dad eats them on bread as a sandwhich.
