Oh neat! Must have been a lot different when the base was running. It's really quiet now (this isn't my home town!) I heard that it was really booming some years ago. It's pretty cold in the winters, although this one has been on the milder/dryer side, surprizingly. Last year was real cold though. It was pretty much 40 below from Dec til Feb! It was insane!
It must be very cold up there right now!! I went to Goose once a long time ago when I was in the forces, but never been in the winter...
