Wow... that's scary. That means other people may have been sending their home addresses to me and the messages have gone to someone else? Sounds very suspicious! This is not good. Going now to contact Boo/Sally. Thanks yet again.

I think I figured it out!!! I did some googling about not receiving messages on a vbulletin forum, and one user said they stopped getting messages when they changed their username and it was the same as another user. I did a search, and another user named mcminsen joined July 5!!! Do a search in iTrader and you'll see. Clicking on their profile just goes to yours. Not sure why another user was allowed to join with the same name as an existing user, but I think that is the problem. I wonder if they're getting all your PMs?

So, my suggestion would be to leave messages on Boo or Sally's walls and maybe they can change that user's name?

Okay, thanks. At least now I know that I can SEND messages but not receive them. I'll have to ask everyone to get back to me by posting messages on my profile page.

Hi again. No luck. I have received nothing in my inbox and have not gotten or been getting the email notifications like I should. I reset everything and logged out and back in again. I will go now to send you a PM and see if you get it. Let me know if you get my PM (on my profile page) and then I'll know that if I send a message to Boo or Sally that they might actually get it.

Beyond that, I'll check out the "site related posts" like you suggested. This is very frustrating because I've got ten trades pending and everyone's probably wondering why I haven't responded.

Okay, I just sent a PM. Any luck? I also sent ones at 11:05 and 10:53 So if you were somehow set to only receive PMs from mods, you still should have received my messages. I am stumped! You could try posting a thread in the site related posts section - maybe someone has had this problem before and will be able to help you out. Are you able to send PMs out? You could try contacting Boo or Sally, they might be able to help.

I have no clue if this would work, but you could try disabling private messaging then re-enabling it. Or log out and log back in? I'm just throwing anything out there and hoping something will work It's so odd that PMing suddenly stopped working for you.

Do you have it set so you receive email notifications of PMs? I'm just curious if you would still get those if the PM isn't actually showing up in your inbox.

Thanks for getting back to me so quick. I checked those settings before I contacted you and double checked them again and they appear to be set properly. I don't remember going into those settings since I joined SC. So...

Could you have disabled private messaging by mistake? Click on User CP in the upper left of the screen. At the left of your screen, scroll down to the section Settings&Options. Click on Edit Options.In the Messaging&Notifications section there is a section called Enable Private Messaging. Make sure that check box is checked. Also, make sure the one below it (Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators) is not checked, otherwise most people won't be able to send you a private message.

Hi Jeniana! Could you help me with a problem? I'm not getting any messages in my inbox and I've been able to confirm that people have been sending me messages but the last message I received was on Monday night (July 4). I'm sure there is more than enough room in my inbox and outbox. I've checked everything I can but can't figure it out. HAAALLP!!! Please and thank you.
