  1. There have been some studies showing success with Omega 3 supplements & treatment of depression. Google them. DH's doctor friend recommended them/ The trick though is getting the right levels in the supplement. There are EPA and DHA levels. You want EPA levels to be the high number cuz your body can't absorb the DHA without the EPA...so EPA needs to be at least double what the DHA is. I tried it for my depression because I'm not a fan of pharmaceuticals. My depression isn't chronically horrible. A few bouts a year of 2 weeks to a month long before I dig back out. But no depression at all since starting these 3 months ago! It isn't for everyone though. Doesn't work if there are also anxiety issues present along with depression. So talk to your doc first!
