  1. Thanks Lynn. Been off the radar a lot lately with my mom, but I know there's many out there suffering. Hate to see such good people have such a rough time.
  2. Yes DO get some answers on the fatigue!! How is your heart? (other than kind That is one area that sends warning signs in the form of fatigue.
  3. I don't blame you. I'd feel the same way. The waiting is the worst, especially when you're not feeling good. Hopefully you can find something to distract yourself with between now and then. That's what I do in times like this. . .
  4. Hi, MQ. I don't know what to think, Sweetheart. It seems that I'm so acutely aware of discomfort there now; just my arm against it, dressed in my uber fluffy robe makes me shift around. Truly, I'm pretty scared and I'll probably remain that way until my doctor tells me everything is okay. I don't obsess, but there's always a niggling reminder now and then. Thank you for your sweet concern; you're adorable...
  5. COuld it be a deep tissue bruise?
  6. Pleasure is always mine Linnie
  7. Well, you got a rather shortened version of my rep...I accidently hit a wrong key and phhhht! There it went!
Hope you're having a lovely day, Sweetie and thanks for your little jokes; sure can use them some days..
  8. Poor poor Lynnie. It's just not fair. I'm hoping the Surgeon will have a brilliant answer for you. I guess when you insert foreign material into one's body, there's bound to be a problem or two, but hopefully they'll already know how to fix this one
  9. Thanks Lynn, I'm just not as nice as you though. I'd be afraid to be around a bunch of nerved up people. Lol!
  10. We;; I hope that incision pain is under control my girl. .. . . If it were up to positive attitudes you'd be completely healed by tomorrow!!
  11. Good fine morning, MQ! I'm having a much better morning, my GP checked my incision from Friday's surgery and said it's perfect so the pain is simply from the surgery, so all's well, just a matter of waiting (again) until that heals, so that I can continue my road to walking again.
And how is everything in your world? Does work slow down a little this time of year? Near Christmas?
Stay safe and well, Sweetie, have a happy day!
  12. Ha ha!! You crack me up! I hope you enjoyed your popcorn!! Seriously though. . .I hope you're doin ok Linnie.
  13. Thanks Lynn. Hoping the "awesomest" long weekend for you!!
  14. Thank you, MQ! It's going to be a long haul, many months, and it's so strange to have to actually THINK how to move one's foot again! Walking all my life and it feels like the first time!
    Have a great weekend, Hon!
  15. I'm good Lynnie. Thanks! We're supposed to get a ton of rain tonight. . .so just waiting to see what kind of flood we'll be surrounded by tomorrow AM!
  16. Thanks Lynn. I'm curled up by the fire as we speak. Brrrrrr. . .wind is howling. Minus 8 tomorrow- warmest day of the week!
  17. Thanks Lynn! I hope you have wonderful family time in the next few weeks. Stay well!
  18. Thanks Lynn. Hope you have an amazing and relaxing long weekend!
  19. That's tough to be in pain. But very important to have as great an attitude as you do! I feel the same, I just look at the news and I remind myself what I have in comparison to "at least" the other half of the world. I have no cause to complain. . .but I still do from time to time! ha ha
  20. Oh, that's good news about your Mom...wow, 82, bless her heart! My hubby had a choice of tissue or mechanical, although he was advised mechanical so that he wouldn't have to go through it again in 10-15 years. It's been a few years now and he still feels like a young'un. Not like me, who has aches and pains every day, lol...But I'm fine, thank you...I try to keep up with everyone, but some days I just need to curl into a ball and feel sorry for myself...speaking of my body here...fibro on arthritis can get to me some days, but then I think of friends who aren't here to enjoy these sunny days and I snap out of it. And how about YOU? How's life treating you these days?
  21. Awwww. . .thanks Lynn. It's always nice to hear a success story. How is your hubby feeling now??? My Mom's 82 but fairly healthy. I think her valve just got plain ol' worn out. Her arteries are good tho. Doctor is using a tissue valve on her. I guess he just prefers them. How are YOU doing these days my dear?
