Was just posting a message on Star's page & happened to read about Shaun. I can't believe he was not checked closer when he was taken to the hospital. What few times I have been in the emergency room here, nurses & drs. tend to freak out if someone is brought in with chest pains & they are given priority over others which should be. Hope everything checks out for him, keep us posted. ((((((( hugs )))))))))

Its so unbelieveable that they didn't do any labs did these people even go to medical school?! Incredible! Even if we suspected someone was simply suffering from "gas pains" and not actual chest pains we didn't assume that we checked the diagnostic tools such as labs, ekg's and above all we observed. You can't make a educated guess even off of 1 hour! My uncle died in a hospital waiting room despite the fact he had a history of heart attacks & several bypasses yet he still wasn't taken seriously. Don't let them brush him off, sounds like you aren't and I'm so glad. The patients that did the best in my opinion were the ones that got as much information as they could and insisted on proper care and ways to help themselves. Unfortunately there are too many doctors and nurses who just don't care and many who I wonder if they even went to school their level of ignorance is horrifying and it seems to be getting worse. Sorry big pet peeve of mine. I've been thru so much healthwise I've seen a lot of the other side of the bed that I never would of dreamed was possible as an Rn. Hugsss will pray that he gets the treatment he needs

Sounds like you have a full plate right now. The job search is slow going. Only jobs here are in the medical or accounting field, which unfortunately I do not have any background in either one. I have good days and a few bad days every now and then, but thank goodness I have a very supportive husband. I have really leaned on him a lot lately. Sorry to hear about your friends. I know you are enjoying spending time with your little nephew--they grow up so fast. Take care.

Gah. I totally didn't check to see what the notifications were - sorry for the late reply! All is fairly well - busy with work which is probably a good thing as i'm not online as much. Much less frustration now! What about you? Think we're ever going to have spring in this country?
