  1. Its so unbelieveable that they didn't do any labs did these people even go to medical school?! Incredible! Even if we suspected someone was simply suffering from "gas pains" and not actual chest pains we didn't assume that we checked the diagnostic tools such as labs, ekg's and above all we observed. You can't make a educated guess even off of 1 hour! My uncle died in a hospital waiting room despite the fact he had a history of heart attacks & several bypasses yet he still wasn't taken seriously. Don't let them brush him off, sounds like you aren't and I'm so glad. The patients that did the best in my opinion were the ones that got as much information as they could and insisted on proper care and ways to help themselves. Unfortunately there are too many doctors and nurses who just don't care and many who I wonder if they even went to school their level of ignorance is horrifying and it seems to be getting worse. Sorry big pet peeve of mine. I've been thru so much healthwise I've seen a lot of the other side of the bed that I never would of dreamed was possible as an Rn. Hugsss will pray that he gets the treatment he needs
  2. Not really sure if Shaun is okay yet...we meet with the heart specialist again on his birthday, May 12th! He'll be 43...he was put off work for 2 weeks but we don't know whether he had an actualy mild heart attack or not as no blood work was done when he was brought in by ambulance...the enzymes need to be tested to see if he had one...the EKG at hospital showed it was good but the one by the paramedics showed there was something not right...so, who knows...he wasn't even at the hospital for more than an hour...pretty sad eh? And it's our doctor that called for the ambulance from his office! It's not like there wasn't anything going on! Grrrrr...I've lodged a complaint on the doctor and the nurse who told him he was having a panick attack as it's FALSE and besides, an RN has NO right to make a diagnosis...lol...my sister was SO pissed when she heard that because she's an RN...we'll learn more when we meet with Dr. Moses on Tuesday...hugssssss

  9. Thank you so much, very sweet and kind of you...I have two lumps in my breasts...one has been there for over a year, the other (which is larger) has been there for 6 months so they want me to repeat the ultrasound again and see what it says now. They are pretty sure that they are cysts but I have refused a biopsy to narrow it out as I have a phobia for needles, hospitals and stuff like that. It's a stressful situation all around for me They want to take measurements and see if they have grown, disappeared or have new ones. Thanks again...hugsssss!

  13. Your very welcome. Don't forget in taking care of your vets that you need care right now too tho all this stress can really mess with your immune system, extra sleep and some extra vitamin C as well as B complex will help with that. God Bless
  14. Thanks so much for your kind words
  15. Thanks for the rep
  16. Thank you for the rep...thanks so much for the kind words and words of encouragement...it's not an easy thing to see or go through...the family is having a hard time coping with what has happened even though they knew it would happen some day soon...they just never thought it would happen this way, where she would have a stroke, be paralyzed and no longer be able to speak to them My husband and I are going to see her in the morning...I dread seeing her this way...they have her in the quiet room now so it's just a matter of when she's ready to give up...they have her on morphine already...God bless her....again, thank you so much

  21. Thank you for your message and thank you for thinking of me Very sweet of you! I am feeling better finally!!! I didn't sleep very well lastnight though but I don't usually anyways, I have insomnia I do have a bottle of Vitamin C and a bottle of Vitamin E as my doctor said it was good to help reduce the chance of having cysts in my boobies...I have two lumps they found in my left one (one last year, one this year) so at the early age of 37, I had my first mamogram. I went back this year and the new one was there 3x the size of the other. They aren't concerned though, they can move them around like a cyst can, they hurt like a cyst does and there are no other symptoms pointing in the direction of it being cancer. They said I could get them biopsied if I wished but I declined as I have a phobia for stuff like that! So, I get a lot of anxiety at nightime thinking of all these things of course. I'll be fine though! I'm still young! Working 7 days a week can be hard though. Today I was given the day off by one of my veterans He's such a sweetheart I had heard that garlic was also very good for the heart. I'll have to keep that garlic in mind. We used minced garlic quite often

Nice talking! Hope you have a great week!
  22. So glad to hear your better am sorry your still exhausted. Get plenty of sleep some vitamins if your not on any and add some B complex it'll help your body handle the extra stress it's under course some vita C and garlic really helps fight off viruses. You can get garlic in pill form and lol luckily they now have it in odorless ones. OMG my mom and me were constantly at war over my not taking garlic in high school...what teenage girl wants to smell like a garlic clove lmao and they didn't have odorless pills then! Once my mom started taking garlic she never ever got the flu or colds lol despite my sister and my best efforts to share ours. She also swore it was the garlic pills that kept her from getting bit from misquitoes, they sure didn't like her smell or somethimg lol. I can't take garlic because I have severe clotting problems, I really doubt it would hurt me but my dr doesn't know for sure so would prefer I didn't chance it, good grief lol I cook with a ton of it so lol figure I get mine that way so don't argue with him over it. Take care!
