im glad to see there are other wpg'ers on here. any advice on tracking down more copies of the inserts? slightly discouraged after almost getting a stack of them from 7-11 on sunday that were neatly sitting on top of the previous days papers but it ended in the gentleman working the till screaming at me.

It was great! Can't blv it's over ...Have been away from SC for a while, many things going on and just cldn't keep up with all the hype...but now I am ready to put myself back on track...Can't wait!!

HaHa I'll try to keep it short, when I talk about my trip I could talk forever.

Botswana (safari), Zambia, South Africa, Kenya & Rwanda (to see the mountain gorillas). It was the trip of a lifetime. I was on 22 flights alone getting around. LOL

Some friends of mine went to Mali as one of them have relatives there.

Although life is hard there, I found people to almost always have a smile even in the poorest areas.

I really hope to go back some day, keep on couponing to save up the $ LOL.

Too bad you couldn't make it. Not too many of the old gang, just Marmaduke and DanesMom, lots of newbies, but still fun.

Wish I was in Africa, was there for a month a few years back and fell in love with it.

Yeah, great deals on bread. Was there today and not as wide a selection, but they have had Dempster's oven fresh, Tortillas etc. I gave a fellow a couple of extra coupons and he almost kissed me. LOL

Hey, I'm looking to find some people in Wpg to trade with or help find ideas/deals with... if you're interested at all, msg me. I'm still fairly new to this and wouldlike some help finding some higher value coupons... i got all the online ones, and some from papers and stufff...but i see all these people from other provinces with this $5 WUB2 type things, i've never seen such a thing. is there stuff like that here?? Help would be appreciated!

No, he brings it all chopped up from the farm. (Thank goodness! LOL) He also distributes it to friends (he has no family in Winnipeg). He also takes care of cooking it. I don't know if our kids are going to participate in the future, but I don't have the stomach for it. My meat comes in little packages LOL.

OMG..I have officially lost my mind...LOL..I celebrated it and didn't even think it was the same day Nov 16! hahah...wow, that's cool...we usually sacrifice the meat back in my home country and then my relatives there distribute it on our behalf...Don't have much family here to distribute meat too ..however, I do think one aspect that's good about sacrificing here is you get FRESH MEAT...yum! Do you do the whole cleaning and all that or does he bring it all chopped from the farm?

Oh, no I didn't. Tabaski...hmm, no idea? Need to google now..lol...Although, Leg of Lamb SOUNDS YUMMY!
