  1. Thank for the REP Granger!!. Sounds like you have one thoughtful husband!!Summer went by way too quickly, I am sure you are getting ready to back to the insanity of working and juggling the girls. I have a few Neilson milk coupons if you are interested, they don't sell it in the west and thought you may use them.Let me know!!
  2. Good luck with the bar tending!!! I am sure you feel like you need a drink after all you have been through...I sometimes do and I don't drink at all, lol. It always amazes me what people will pay for alcohol, cost is one of several reasons I don't. Hope your weekend is a good one.
  3. Thanks for the dead animal REPS!!! Better than bed bugs but I'm pretty sure this kind of stuff only happens to me!!I have the cleanest house on the block for sure, just putting it back together this week.Hope you are enjoying the summer so far.I usually don't work very much in the summer but my sister in law and my brother own a golf course and I am going to be the beer cart girl for the weekend. They have a huge tournament and no staff. This is going to be interesting.....I am not a huge drinker and I was going over the price list so I knew my prices, people actually pay 6.00 for a beer! I am getting old, I worked part time in a pub when I was 18 and beer was 1.25 and .75 at happy hour.Hope I can make it through the weekend.
  4. Thanks for the rep Miss Granger!! Yup the budget works really well as far as teaching about saving and thinking ahead. My oldest is 33 now and she went without a winter coat in grade 12(she didn't really go without she just had to wear her mothers old ski jacket!) due to the fact she thought smoking would be a good idea.Kind of drained her budget, it was hard for me to watch her being embarrassed about her coat but she made a bad choice. It didn't take her long to give up the cigarettes for things she really wanted.
  5. Thanks for the REP !! Yes Home Depot is awesome and completely free.If you go to their website and look under workshops they will have a calender of the activities offered for kids. This weekend April 13 is build a bird feeder. They do say ages 4-12 but I have noticed lots of younger ones than four, as long as you are helping them they won't say anything. The kiddo will get an apron and each class he attends he will receive a pin to put on it.Great Fun!!
  6. Thanks for the offer. We just stocked up on disposables for bedtime and outings (using the coupons you sent for Valentine's Day), so don't worry about sending them. If we didn't cloth diaper I would take you up on the offer though! Thank you so much for thinking of me. I was thinking about you the other night and I was explaining SC to my SIL and was telling her about the exchanges and how I call you my SC adopted mom and that I felt we had a lot in common...she laughed knowing I liked sci-fi and said that maybe you were really me in another time loop. I told her your oldest daughter didn't have Celiac so I was safe. lol. Have a great weekend!!!
  7. Thanks for the REP!!Hope you are enjoying being back at work. I have the P& g Pampers coupons(2 sets) would you like me to send them to you? No one in diapers around here any more!!
  8. Thanks for the recipe and rep! Can't wait to try it!
  9. Glad the card arrived! Christmas is coming fast as it always does! You will have so much fun with the little ones. Enjoy every minute of it!
  10. I received a special card in the mail today! Handwriting like yours is a lost art! Thank you for the extras you included. They will be well-used. You are too sweet. Glad mine arrived safely despite the weather out West. Again Happy Christmas!
  11. I opted for Christmas cartoons with my girls instead for a half hour. It is raining today. I also placed every Christmas movie I could find on my Netflix "to watch" line up. I was making cards today, was enjoying the sound of the rain too much...if it was snow, I would have had to put the music on.
  12. Thanks for the REPs. Now that Nov. 11 has past do you have the music blaring!!! Did some Christmas crafts and baking today and it felt great!!
  13. It is 10 above in ON today. I think this may be our last warm stretch. We will be dipping below 0 soon. I watch the weather network almost every morning and saw pics of AB. Keep warm.
  14. It is minus 20 right now. Just shoveled again!! going to stay warm inside and wrap a few gifts!!
  15. Hope you are staying warm and able to surface out of the snow!
  16. Oh Christmas Vacation, can't wait to see it again!! I just watched CTV news and they had the Shoppers Drug Mart Christmas songs retraction as a news story!!!! Oh for heavens sake enough said!
  17. Ya, my Christmas minimization is really to minimize offending anyone (I have a couple friends who have already vocalized their anti-Christmas before Nov. 12). I too respect veterans, but have been thinking about Christmas prep constantly since Nov. 1. I am not publicly sharing my Christmas spirit with these friends until later in the season. That is okay though, I am warming up and then the Grinchies will get National Lampoon out of me.
  18. Thanks for the REP. I have to go back to work next week, I don't know how I will we cope not being able to follow the Cadbury Saga.It just goes on forever!I need to find something better to do with my spare time ...seriously.
  19. I watched a couple last night and she is hilarious. It makes me happy for her that her video went viral, she can have her 5 minutes or more of fame!!
  20. Nutty Madam gave me a few good laughs last night. God bless her whether she is for real or not. She may be insane but is bringing many joy even if it is a little bit at her own expense (I just hope she knows that).
  21. Thanks for the Rep, I just watched the Breaking Dawn Trailer with Nutty Madam and it is hilarious
