2010 Adopt a Newbie Thread

Attention to all new members of SC. Welcome to the adopt a newbie thread.
This is a place where new members looking for help can post, and if they want, be adopted by a Senior Member of SC.
There will be more new members than senior's, so please try to be patient.
If we are unable to match you up with a Senior member, feel free to ask questions in this thread and one of the great folks willing to adopt will answer or try to answer your questions.
We will go with a first come first adopted method. If possible, will try and set up folks that can stack with others that can stack, but can't promise anything

Since there will be so many new members looking to be adopted, we will have to go with a under 7 trade rating to begin. Sorry folks, just not enough Senior's out there.

Post in this thread, and I will contact a Senior member about adopting you.
Once the Senior members each get a newbie, we will have to wait for more members to sign up. But in the meantime, you may ask questions and one of us will try and answer.

I think this is a great idea!!! I'm not sure if I need to be adopted by a senior as I have had considerable help from a few people already. But I would definitely like to use this thread to post further questions. I have a few trades going on right now and waiting to see how that goes. I did my first coupon trip yesterday and did pretty well I think. But realized in an awfully big hurry that I need to be alot more organized when I have both of my children with me.

I have a question already...lol... Does anyone here use coupon surfer. It wants me to download a coupon printer and when I did it still wont work.

I found that most coupons on the internet other than save.ca are for US only. I downloaded many programs in the past and printed only to find out later.

I was thinking that too. I will stick to the ones that they send to me. I think its safer. I did use a few printed ones from the rightathome site yesterday and the girl had no problem taking them at all..
