A question...............
I used my AMEX card to go to the Head of The Line for tickets to the Eagles and the Dixie Chics. I got upper deck, $85 tickets on the first day available.
2 weeks later , I go on the regular ticketmaster page and checked to see about tickets...................I could have bought tickets, same section, row 2...................mine are in row 13 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Now to me......that stinks......why get tickets early................

I used to work for Sunrise Records, who has Ticketmaster outlets, so I can actually give a qualified response to this.

Ticketmaster presales do not guarantee the best tickets, just the best tickets available through that particular presale. The bulk of tickets are released to the public on the posted onsale date. However, particular seats are released through Amex presales, artist fanclub presales and radio presales.

These presales are all given blocks of tickets. So, let's say there are 100 seats in the front row of a concert at the ACC: 20 may be sold through the AMEX presale, 20 may be sold through the artist's fan club presale, 20 through radio presales, and the rest through the public onsale.

You have access to the same seats, the only advantage is that there would be less people trying for tickets through presales than through the public onsale date.

I think True North also deserves credit for sounding intelligent and adding to the conversation this morning on “Stump the Chump”, some people are so boring, others are just nervous…am guessing I would sound like a nervous idiot…lol Some sound so natural like they were born to be on the radio and have a sense of humor, as True North did, so congrats on that as well as winning.

It really just comes naturally. Derriger is an easy guy to chat with, so I'm comfortable just being myself.

A few years back, Alex Hindmarch had a contest where listeners had the opportunity to come in and co-host the evening show from 10 - 12. I was all set to go when they cancelled the promotion. A father and son team joined him one night and tried using the time to push religion. This turned off a lot of listeners, so they scrapped the concept.

When I heard about it, I thought it was a contest for guitar players. All it involves, though, is plugging in a guitar, hitting a string and seeing if it plays a note. Similar to giving contestants a key to a car, one key wins the car.

I think many of theses men were not aware their pictures had been taken.
I much prefer a man or a woman who ages gracefully rather than one who has had so many cosmetic surgeries that they start looking like the lost twins of another star.
I remember a number of years ago, I saw some awards show.Peggy Lee and Burt Lancaster were presenters together. They honestly looked liked they were related. They must have used the same cosmetic surgeon

naw you don't have to "play" it. You plug it in and if you can make any sound at all come out of it, no matter how awful, you win the trip across the pond.

No all you do is plug the guitar in and if it makes a sound you win its that easy. No playing required. You may be asked to perform an air band song withthe guitar if you win though
