this is a great thread. i have been wanting to buy a kabuki brush and MAC is alittle pricey. i don't remember seeing ELF brushes at Zellers though. i am wondering if getting a brush alone is worth ordering from ELF. i also watch those youtube makeup tutorials, thus i am into getting good brushes.

I have the Studio line face kabuki, and it is extremely soft! It isn't as dense as I would like, compared to my Bare Escentials one which is not nearly as soft. But for $5, it's pretty much a steal. I do recommend their Studio complexion brush for blush, and the Studio powder brush since it is really dense.
Don't think you will be able to find their brushed in Canadian stores anytime soon, at least not the Studio stuff. If you use the PayPal trick to get $6.95 shipping, and with a 50% off coupon code, I think that's pretty worth it. Who knows, you may get lucky like I did once and the system waives the shipping cost for such a small order.

stuffedpandapuppet, thanks for the info. i will get the studio kabuki brush, seemed like there are several positive reviews for it. i don't have paypal, might just have to use the credit card option. however, the prices for ELF are reasonable (and i spent so much on MAC), definitely using the code helps alot.

I still love my mac brushes, they won't be replaced. I think I'll love the elf studio powder brush, it gets great reviews. I still want to get the mac 182 (kabuki brush) and it's very expensive.

great thread! i've only ordered once from elf and didn't know about the paypal option, so ended up spending $15 on the s/h. it took over a month to arrive, and i think part of the problem was that instead of BC, they had put down AB for the province. don't know how that happened as it shows the correct address on my account.

At least your package stayed within Canada, I guess. Mine once went to Hamilton, Bermuda instead of Hamilton, ON! Honestly, mine was more USPS's fault, since the address on the package was correct. It just didn't say Canada on it.
Did anyone notice that their packages have hand written addresses? I've only had one printed label thus far.

Just wanted to drop by and say that their newest email gives you "10, $1.00 items FREE" when you spend $20 or more. Use the code "2010"!
The email gives your specific items to choose from, but I'm pretty sure you just have to buy $20 worth of items to get the deal. I'm paying $17.95 (ship. included) for 11 items. Pretty good!

Zellers in Square One has it, they have the ELF box sets things there, no brushes though. You won't find it looking for a rack full of different ELF stuff, that's not what Zellers is carrying currently, got an email from them a while back. Look for those fuschia box sets, and see if you like them. I think they run about $4.99-6.99 or something.
I guess this isn't really GTA, but I also found it in Zellers at Meadowlands in Ancaster.
Code 2010 seems to only work if you have 10 $1 items (non-Studio or mineral line) in your cart, but hey still a good deal, hopefully good to December 31, 2010.
