Thread: My 8 redemptions ($2K)
-
Sun, Dec 5th, 2010, 09:57 PM #1
I redeemed 4 x on Saturday (2 on my card, 2 on hubbies') and 4 on Sunday for a total of $2K (all on my card, in 4 separate stores - it appears SDM doesn't keep track about only 2 redemptions per card per day, fyi - good to know, and I did not try redeeming in the same store more than twice.)
Here is the pic. I am exhausted, it was a shopping filled w/e and I got very little rest and sleep.
Some friends told us they did not want to exchange gifts so we had less people to shop for. Of note we bought:
PSP, several games, several PS3 games, and several accessories
1 DVD player
2 Sony iPod docking stations/speaker players
several DVDs, Blu Ray movies
2 pic frames for digital pics
3 chocolate fountains
several bath products (for gift giving)
5 hardcover books; 2 mags
games, scarves, toys
some food, razors and lots of chocolate
Time to hit the sheets and catch up on my sleep.

WOW!!!
My son would die for that PSP! LOL. Are you going to wrap them and put them under the tree for yourselves?? Or play them right away?
I phoned our insurance provider and it is a no go, they will not accept anything but the standard BC pharmacy receipt. Figured they would be uncooperative, they have been in everything else...it is so stressful dealing with them.Looking for: Yogurt (FPCs)

Yeah I called 1800 Shopper and the rep said according to term and condition you can redeem 2 times a day, but I keep bugging him that I do have points, why can't I redeem more than 2 times, he told me wait a few minutes and then after that he said oh you can do more than 2 times but I'm not sure if the store would let you do that (LOL) so you should ask the manager! I ended up redeem 3 times in the same store yesterday and 1 today!

Soo jealous of the chocolate fountains! I really wanted to use my points on one, but couldn't find any at my local SDMs.

Yes you get points in BC on prescriptions but I think they calculate it differently than before. Before it was 10 points per dollar but now when I see my receipt I will see something called Health Watch and have points like 2500. Our optimum # is registered at the pharmacy so I imagine that's what those points are.

Not shown were the 2 games, watch, silly bandz and 2 ladies Maple Leaf scarfs bought for the office holiday hug a family drive. (kept them separate so not to get mixed up). Most are gifts for friends and family including lots of hostess gifts (chocolate fountains). I got a cell for myself - time to come back out of the middle ages.
We have so many electronics thx to SDM redeemed in the past - 2 net books (well a redemption plus purchase of the balance), 2 other cell phones (for my kids), 4 DSIs, 3 digital cameras and 2 camcorders, 3 TomTom GPSs, lots of Wii games, another PSP and games. I would not have got these without the SDM points.
I do appreciate getting all the books, I'd trade a computer any day for a good book. Guess I will wait until the big day to read them.
