Although I cloth diaper my son, so far I managed to get a couple of Huggies mega packs which either I would use when we travel or give away to some friends. But this past week I was inspired by .Calliecat. who is embarking on a personal project to collect as many diaper coupons as possible in order to do some larger diaper donations for her community. I hope my coupies I sent her help
So I decided I would try to start my own donation pile of diapers. (And a very special thank you to smartshopper88 who is ROAKing a whole bunch of Huggies coupons so I can build a diaper collection for donation .) So if anyone has extra diaper coupons you are willing to part with I am happy to put them to good use for my community
I made a trip out to Zellers but they were all sold out of Huggies Mega Packs. So we made a trip to London Drugs instead.
We saved $271.01 in coupons and price-matching!!
OOP: $28.28
Tax: $20.30
Total: $48.58
I was happy to get the Multibionta vitamins price matched to SDM...... because all 3 locations of SDM I went to were sold out.
I was excited to have price-matched SDM for the 15% off Live Clean for Babies.
It was a bonus to find all the B2G1 peelies on the Miss Vickies. (I have a few extra for trade.)
By price matching the Bounty and Charmin to Zellers and by using all my coupies, it was like I bought one then got one free!!
And all 8 cans of soup I got for free too!!This thread is currently associated with: Huggies, London Drugs, Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart, Zellers

That's fantastic!! I have been accumulating Pampers & Huggies coupons myself in hopes to do something like this, but I can't seem to find enough different coupons to get the diapers at LD for free or super cheap. Would you mind sharing who you PM'ed and for how much? Any idea where to get coupons for diapers from, besides the usual sources (brandsaver, save, websaver, and newspaper inserts)?

I PM'd Zellers for the Mega Packs at $8.99 and the Pull Ups at $13.99.
I just use the regular coupons I find (like the ones you have). I just kick in my own money too. Obviously it's my hope to get as many free packages as I can but if necessary I am willing to put in a certain amount of money too....like today I am going to go to Walmart to PM the Zellers mega packs at $8.99....I'll use my $3 off coupons and purchase 3 packs. So $5.99 x 3.

They really should be tax exempt! Well at least the diapers are at a lower rate, so that's not AS painful I guess.
I really don't understand how they decide what to tax and what not to. I was surprised to see on my receipt the other day that Milk 2 Go is taxable. Yet, Thinsations aren't. Wouldn't you think that MILK (even if it is flavored milk -- it's still milk) would be exempt, and that a chocolate chip cookie drizzled in chocolate would be taxed. Nope!
Thanks for your responses.
