Please find attached excel spreadsheet ( slimmed down ).

This is a "Value only" DB of the data I use for preparing my Alpha thread and my "Buy today..." thread.

I was going to extract a " Historical sale prices" thread but cannot get the forum wiki text to format it appropriately, so I generated this spread sheet for release instead.

First sheet is the DB of values, You can sort and otherwise filter the list to display what you need to see. The official thread is using "Week, Store, description". My favorite order is by "Description" alone.

Second sheet is a Pivot table, currently set for display of unit pricing for all items over the 4 weeks I've been doing this. Users who know how to use Pivot tables in Excel can garner all kinds of useful information.

Please note: My current process in a manual entry of the information from the weekly deals thread, I was not adjusting my values to match any changes, so there are some synchronization issues. Please check with the Official threads for the latest corrections.

I've included the deals for this week as they were at 9:00 this morning.

By the way, the forum limit of 2.00 MB for xls files is a bit small. Had to zip it...

    Enjoy

Cool ... now I can do lookups on my coupons spreadsheet to plan shopping sprees
Are you going to release this every week? It will definitley get good use from me if you do, as I try and make the same sort of list for the weeks shopping too .... personally I add air miles and SDM points multipliers columns as it adds weight to my decisions.

I may not release the whole thing as the size will increase well over the Forum limit , But I will release the weekly additions in some format that can be cut and pasted to the bottom of the DB sheet. That way others can modify and add records as they see fit and it still can be populated with current deals.

I had a "Proposal/change request" post early May, which asked the community for suggestions on additional content and such. It is currently awaiting review by the Site Owner. Airmiles and other loyalty programs didn't even occur to me, should be a simple addition. Need only figure out the best place to put the information in my "Deal String"
