Hi!!! I send you a pm september 25,could you get back to me about a possible trade please.Thank you
Congrats on both you and DH going without meat ( or at least less meat? ). I know this would not only lower our spending but it would be healthier as well. Our family is so addicted to meat. If I serve a new vegetarian dish, they eat it happily, then they say " so where is dinner ? " or something equally as silly. Again congrats on making that change and being rewarded with lower grocery bills.
Yes totally disgusting..tasted weird and texture was weird..yuck!
What a beautiful kitty. Mine is a Himalayan also. Ziggy is 2. What is your cat's name ? Have u had for a while ?
I am planning on doing my favorites in a picture frame or two.
I received both envelopes of vintage coupons yesterday. Totally awesome and I would have to say the Chipits Orange flavoured is my favorite. Thanks so much and have a super day.
I guess I meant to say I use and toss SOME of the leafy stuff, you are absolutely right they are the best tasting part of the soup, and I also add tons of fresh spinach in our soups at the very end. The real reason I strain the broth is really more to get all the fat, skin and undesirable parts of the poultry out as well as the limp over boiled veggies that have flavoured the stock but then when I start the actual making of the soup I return only the chopped meat that I have stripped off the bones, and I add a fresh batch of peeled and chopped veggies. ( including onion, celery, carrots, green beans...etc )
oh and btw yesterday I simply could not leave FB without getting 2 giant sized heads of fresh cauliflower!! I am breaking them both up into small sized flowerets and will blanch and freeze that too. So simple to do and when we reheat for a meal it tastes so fresh. When was the last time cauliflower was .88 a head?? I can't recall?
my family all love corn on the cob, but they know now all corn is GMO ( even in Ontario ) but you know it is just 1 of those crazy things I have latched onto and won't give in to now. More importantly it is a starch that turns into sugar once digested, so there is that ( diabetic considerations ). I agree about the stuff coming from China....yikes! so I only buy fresh organic garlic a few times a year, FB has a Canadian one sold in a 3 pack, not cheap though. The celery will be fine frozen, I always hack off the entire end of my celery, as well as most of the leafy parts and bag them for the freezer and then use that to make stock. I strain and discard the stuff once the broth is good, then add some fresh chopped celery for the soup. Mmmm darn it now I want soup! ha ha
well..........I have this " thing " about seeing produce marked down low and wanting to buy lots! Who can resist? If I could just convince the gang here to eat more lightly steamed veggies with every meal I wouldn't feel the need to buy it cheap in the summer, blanch and freeze it. I usually have small bags of our favourites done up (broccoli, green beans, snow peas ) I find carrots stay cheap enough but I simply despise the darn evil corn, so I won't buy it ( it is a GMO thing with me )
oh dear!! THAT is awful service, c'mon I mean really?!
and lets not forget how the shortened expiry dates mess with mailing them to anyone even IF you can get a good trade going. ( the mail can be slow and chances are they will expire before they arrive )
my only decent offer this week was 1,400 pts on ea. pkg of Tassimo discs ( $1.40 off the RCSS sale price of $7.98 which made them $6.49 after the pts ) So I bought 7 pkgs and then OF COURSE afterwards I see GT had the same discs on for $6.97, but I'll just bet RCSS would never have PM'd that flyer and if they did they would limit me to 4 pkgs. Couponing really sucks these days eh?? ha ha
Thanks or the rep!!!!! I'm loving it so far! Less stuff means less decisions, more time, less stuff to clean.....
Thanks! One of my tomato plants (sweet million variety) was doing well...that is, until we had a crazy wind/rainfall that the one branch that had little green tomatoes broke off! I better fertilize to get the plant to produce more fruit before the fall Otherwise, my other plants suffered a worse fate - threw out my kale bowl, raspberry isn't producing any fruits (thinking of giving it away to someone with a yard and hopefully it will provide them with a bounty of berries next year!), onion didn't sprout, celery was a failure too...I am sure I am forgetting a plant or two. In any event, no more balcony planting for me...I'll stick to admiring other people's photos
I really wish crying while laughing emoji was a thing here
You mean not everything is about ME?!
It is getting harder and harder to pm. That is where I save most of my money by price matching
Don't get too envious! I had to work for more than 13 months to get any company match and then it's only a few percent. You have to work a full calendar year so depending on when you were hired, it's possible to work 23 months without any benefits or matching at all!
smart girl - I thought you knew
I am just plain lazy and that works well for me because the cleaners I stockpiled about 2-3 yrs ago I still have!! For the most part we use NO smellies, except the odd solid one I open and drop into the vent in the floor near the front door. That way when someone enters they might NOT smell any pet odours?? I am still using that blue ball in the dryer! ( so proud of that ). We bought car seat covers for the new vehicle and I nearly gagged at the smell of those! Six of one, half dozen of the other I guess. I just keep trying.
from what I understand now chemicals are inside the fabric of furniture we sit on, beds we sleep in....oh brother! I thought just avoiding the Smellies would be the best thing to do .
