dang it all! For a change of pace around here I bought a few of each kind ( Spartan, Courtland and McIntosh ) from WM @ 87cents a lb. I thought DH would freak out at no gala's for this week but he was o.k. about it...lol. maybe I'll do the .68 cent gala's later on this week.... thanks!! I did all my shopping at WM on Friday morning!! There was no stress as I PM'd and used my coupons ( no one behind me in line!! ) and I was glad to get back home knowing there would be no weekend madness for me, lol!! Enjoy your relaxing time too, well I mean AFTER your chores, ha ha

isn't that the way? You don't go and then it doesn't rain after all. You know I almost thought another flyer ( Fusion) had the apples cheaper @ .77 cents/lb. BUT the silly description did not say Gala apples JUST said Fresh Red Apple!! lol Our w/e was very lazy here JUST the way we all like it.

I actually paid $1.47 a lb. not too long ago because DH had none here! I only bought about 5 because I was so annoyed, lol!! In my next shop I am getting him some berries 3/$5.00 at Metro ( strawberry, blueberry, raspberry) Mmmmm

I sure hear you. I think that is a great solution you found to curb the overeating of the junk. Isn't it just awful when 1 person is craving? Then everyone just blindly eats out of habit, well that happened all the time here, so someone had to reign the madness in, lol. As far as SDM goes I just cannot get my head around using my days to get free cleaning products. I still have tons on my shelves that I do not use enough as it is
( confessions of a slacker housekeeper! ). I cannot believe some of the SDM brags where people are shopping every single day it seems ?? That seems excessive to me. There has got to be more to life than that.

sorry that I know nothing about anything SDM related because I walked away from them over 2 years ago. Printing coupons is a sore point for me because it uses ink and paper so no savings to me. SDM has nothing I cannot get elsewhere cheaper. Even IF I collected a gazillion Optimum points I still cannot get healthy food there, only processed crap. I don't need any baby stuff anymore, wear no makeup, the only thing I sometimes buy is cheap eggs, or Royale TP. Sorry I am not much help in this area.
