I keep my samples for Christmas and put them in a large santa bag and with that I give each family member a ticket and they put their hands in a choose a freebie. If someone else likes that freebie, they can take it from them, and that person chooses another.
I also buy small gifts on sale and at Christmas we play games to win these gifts. I just love Christmas time

I'm a student who won't be able to travel for many years (lol), so I just use the stuff like shampoo and body wash... I haven't needed to buy shampoo for like 7 months!

I ended up donating some of mine to the delivery ward at the hospital as when I was there I had to go in for an emergency c section and had no time to think about bringing toiletries with me. When I asked for some shampoo she told me that the hospital doesn't provide this anymore but the all the nurses grab the shampoo and soapsamples from the hotels they stay in to bring back to work for people like me that needed them. That day I sent my dad home to pack up all my samples to donate to the hospital. Best thing I have ever done with my samples!

I love samples! I toss them in a covered cat litter pail, use them as I need them, and also give some away to friends and relatives. I've also given some to a local food bank. Yep, it's fun to simply take them out and look at them occasionally!

Camping is the biggest user. My kids as well as myself always go to the sample stash for camping.
Travel of course.
For my purse(Great place for sample sized floss and handcreams!)
All my laundry samples are stored for any kind of trips or camps and the kids know where to grab them.
For the swimming pools and gyms (kids use the shampoos and conditioners and body washes there) this reduces the risk of having full bottles go missing..
And some we just happily use at home. Whitening strips, veet, Biore Nose strips etc ...Last edited by hollyhill; Mon, Sep 19th, 2011 at 10:38 AM.

I don't have a lot of sample sized items yet but the ones I do have and will receive as I continue to coupon will be saved for camping, gifts and donations to local shelters. We have a new teen homeless center opening in a near by city that I plan on taking a bunch of shaving creams, deodorant, soup, cereal and whatever else I can gather up to help them get started. I feel very blessed to be able to make donations to other places even if financially we are not doing that hot we can still make a difference in others lives.
Always looking for items on my wishlist, Stouffers and ICoke pins! As well as RAOK Campbells soup labels for my kids school!
