I will have to start tomorrow. We never have white bread in our house but DH bought a loaf yesterday and we had a slice with our cereal this morning but yeah. I'm in!
I'm going to blog about it to make myself even more accountable.
So today I must eat up the packet of biscuits in the cupboard so I'm not tempted tomorrow ;-)
ETA: have to say even though I don't eat it, I don't consider peanut butter to be a "naughty spread". If you get the natural stuff that isn't hydrogenated, then it's a good source of protein.Last edited by gourmetsue; Mon, Jan 9th, 2012 at 09:53 AM.

Yay!!! Funny I thought about startinga blog, but have no idea how to begin!!! I thought posting here may help!!!
I agree - I have Adams Peanut butter and will still use that. I also use olive oil on my salads (opposed to creamy dressing) so I may still use a bit of that if I miss it!!!
Yes! Eat the biscuits!! lol! I had my last feast of homeade pergoies and sauasage last night!! Followed up by homeade ice cream!!!

Peanut butter IMO shouldn't be on this list. Nuts are healthy as long as they are eaten in moderation and not salted.

Good luck.
I find it interesting that fruit isn't on there. Some fruit has such a high sugar content it would blow the candy away
I couldnt do this, with diabetes id be so grumpy with low blood sugar. LOL!
Hope you make it.

hubby and I tried something like this a year ago. omg we nearly killed each other after the first week. i lost 10 lbs and he 8 in the first week. but man the cravings.. and with teenage boys in the house.. you cant make them suffer. the wind blows them away... even though they eat me out of house and home.. so if i dont' have something for them to eat.. they start knawing on wood frames. LOL. but seriously.. we tried. i know someday there will be a reason for me (and him) to do this and stick to it.. but after the year we had. we just couldn't do it.
good luck to you. im sure you'll do great.Be Strong
Be True
Be You.
Simple as that!
