So I got a postcard in the mail from CP all about their new restructuring. Looks like delivery times will be changing.

Can anyone make sense of this gobbly-gook? I'm not good at big blocks of text, my brain falls asleep. This thread is currently associated with: Canada Post, Locale Shoes

Basically your delivery time may change and they will have more accurate tracking info for parcels and registered mail.
At least that was what I got from all the flowery speech.

Ever since the strike, I have had mail delivered by truck and on foot, countless different carriers, sometimes don't get mail until supper time, if at all....

Well, I hope when they say change they mean earlier. I get my mail between 9:30-10am and I love it. I'll be very sad if it goes later.

I hope they don't change the times until later in the day, currently my mail is not at the box until around 2:30pm.

we had one of those..and in typical canada post style.. it was dated two days AFTER they had started(not a few days before to give us warning)
rather annoying our mail comes 2hrs later! When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

So this new delivery plan started yesterday. Anyone else now getting their mail at a different time... mine used to come between 9:30-10, yesterday it didn`t arrive till after 2. This morning, same thing, no 10am delivery. What a bummer

If it makes you feel any better, we are not part of the restructuring and our mail has come really late the last week or so - it maybe just a 'summer' issue rather than the actual restructuring

My mailman said restructuring in Dartmouth happened weeks ago so we shouldn't notice too many changes. He said Halifax was really screwed up though and it was going to take them much longer to deliver the way it's set up.

My mail has changed from around 9am to 3 or 4pm. But it isn't the regular mail woman so I think it might just be because she is on vacation or something. Fingers crossed because I loved the early delivery when I was around the house
