I have a pair of really cute pumps I want to wear right now, but with each step my heel slips out of the back of the shoe

What tried/true product can I buy to keep my heel from slipping out?

They are kitten heels with super pointy toes, and I don't want to have to throw them out

(2 sad faces so far, you know i really want to wear these shoes lol)

Love the shoes! I use heel grips because I always have the same problem. They are about $3.50 a pair and I usually pick them up at the shoe repair. You should be able to find them wherever they sell Scholls products. Just peel the backing off and adhere them in the heels of your shoes. It does the trick for me.

    Thanks Dianne!

Is it an actual Scholl's product that you buy?

I don't buy Scholl's brand. They tend to be more expensive and the other brands works just as well.

Heel grips are definitely what you're looking for. Try to stay away from silicone ones, I find they don't work very well, or adhere to the shoe properly. I have yet to find a brand that I like that isn't going to jack up the price of my shoes so I actually make my own using foam and felt from the dollar store. I just took the outline of the heel grips I have and cut out a set of each the foam and felt. I just use plain white glue to put the foam and felt together. Let it sit under a phone book over night and use tape to secure it to the inside of my shoe. I have no problems with them and if they start to come out, change the tape. When they get sweaty or gross, I just make a new pair. The foam adds space between the shoe and your heel so its more snug and the felt I use to provide a bit of grip.

    P.S. Those shoes are lovely.

I had an issue with one pair of shoes and i used the tan foamy things you put down in the inside front part.. I get them for free at Shoe company (find them in the box under the benches with the sample nylons you use to try shoes on) I find that it pushes you foot back a bit to secure my heel better and as a bonus gives my toes a little more room (I too love pointy shoe but my toes... not so much)

I bought pumps for a venue this weekend (From Spring) and they gave me grips which I thought was these but there for the toes of the shoe.

So now I have to go out and find these somewhere.... does shoppers sell them?
